in this new and early dawn
smoothly it surrounds you
makes you feel like never before
a voice heavy yet light
full of emotion
dusk a beautiful sight
crimson and pearl
a swirl of color
this voice chilling and haunting
takes away your fear
deeper and deeper
it dives to the real issues
singing about your life
your hidden past
acronyms without meaning
warm smiling eyes
a clever disguise
a simple song
to reach an all time high
a haze in the vision of time
keeps you from living your life
a simple song
wipes away the clouds
a cheery sunrise sunday morning
smooth as the voice
you lost yourself in
no longer needing help
for the aid of
a simple song
