Default Hi to all you strong intended hard workers;

Retired Mechanical Engineer, Teacher, Mentor: Present interest is better more functional communication encompassing beyond the normally considered and marketed physical plane into related energy of the physical. Essentially the whole is a sum of the parts, and actually it appears the parts are pieces of the whole. Neither one exists without the other.

Energies encompass joy, happiness, frustration, fear, etc. All that goes into some part at one time. And the whole is a summation that takes all of that in. Admittedly highly oversimplified.

Started with computers 1983, Kapro, 64K machine, big board, initially supplied with two 191K 5" disk drives. On to DOS with an Altima 286, Win 95 with an old Compaq, and on to my present IBM T22 running ubuntu 7.04 (sort of) in the ultrabay HDD as first boot, XP-Pro internal HDD not booted with ubuntu.

Exhausted with MS promises, muti-spying apparently by all associated, and wifi fubarred numerous times in 2000P and XP-Pro despite multi-protection.

Had hoped ubunto outside that realm. Unfortunately not, but damage to date minor and apparently resolved by re-start using rebuild grub.

Avast an ClamAT (?) both not work right yet. Clam did find and delete one virus file anyway.

Hope/Faith the energies and work of the open system can create a choice for a way around this waste of a lot of well intended persons time.
