| Hello, Does anyone have any good memory techniques? Not that I have a problem with studying, I am learning how to program in Java. It is going ok, but not as fast as I would like. Anyone have any good methods of imputing information into the brain? |

| the wicked one | Well, ok I'm no programmer but a mathematician what's quite similar, many letters, many numbers ![]() I do add pictures to every segment in my mind and try to make stories out of them. Sometimes the outcome is so stupid that I start to laugh, and that's the point where I won't forget it for a long time ![]() |

| Are you talking about syntax? The best way I've found of learning languages is just to use them. Follow some tutorials, but don't copy and paste the code, type it out yourself. Or try and write a simple program yourself, and look up the syntax whenever you need it. For me, just reading syntax without using it is in one ear, out the other. |
