Default Suicide

I'm working on a project for Suicide and I wondered how many people really think about killing themselves.

if you're writing about suicide then i guess you should learn about it from the experts. these people are sick, they literally talk people into killing themselves and the are very supporting of the idea. if you really wanna know how many people think about killing themselves then just look at the number of people who visit this website. i heard about it from opera. this girl killed herself by the advice of a person from the website and her final goodbye was left on the webpage. you can actually find her posts on there too her name was suzie. i think it would be a good idea to write about the peoples different beliefs in the issue rather than ask people how many of them actually consider suicide because on a bad day you could get practically everyone you talk to.

sorry, the website is called <removed due to methods of taking ones life>...sick sick people!

I have known a lot of people who have entertained the thought, but 99% of them would never come close to committing the act. There is a difference between thinking about what would happen if you died, and suicide. There is also a difference between thinking about escape via death, and suicide.

Thinking about death is, to me, reasonable. The more you understand something, the less scary it may seem. Since I was a child, I contemplated death and its effects. I have never been afraid of dying.

I guess in high school I thought about what it would be like if I died; but I never wanted to kill myself. I'd also been in situations where I figured the only real escape would be death, but again: I never wanted to kill myself.

So I guess I'm asking: do you want to know about people who simply think about killing themselves, or people who think about it seriously, perhaps with the intention of following through?

I don't know if that made sense, I haven't slept in about 52 hours. But either way you cut it: suicide is never a solution.

Death is a plausible answer to problems. Looking at a normal person who spent their life working their butt off to be divorced and disgraced until their death is not happy. Conversely, looking at a movie's star lavish career may give you second thoughts.

In the end, if some one told me that my life would be worthless, I would not do anything worthwhile and I would do nothing to help my fellow man then I pray I would have the fortitude and courage to blow my brains out. However, we cannot predict the future, therefore we must rough it out and try to make ourselves better in the process.

I think alot of people think of it when they are really upset,
but not as many do it. I can say at points in my life ive felt
like there was nothing to live for, but it all gets better. I feel
sorry for those who truly feel they have nothing for live for &
end up ending their like that. And to those of you talking bad
about these people, you really shouldnt, you have to try to
understand just how bad alot of these people have it. Their
lifes to you dont seem real because they are so horrible.
It seems like things that are only in movies, but thats not true.
These people that do end their own lifes feel like its taking the easy
way out. I dont agree with that but im not going to say they are crazy,
they are just confused and sad and feel as if they have nothing and nobody
to live for anymore, but i believe anyone can change their life around if they
work at it, but they have to be willing to do that & some people arnt, or they just dont believe they can. I wish i could help them.

I have had a friend her killed herself last year,
& it was horrible, she didnt only hurt herself
but hurt everyone around her. She was only 16
& had alot going for her, All A's in school , into sports
, alots of friends, but had a bad home life & thought
she couldnt handle it anymore, i wish she could have
seen what she had ahead of her & not ended her life.

I though about it before but never attempted. I just look at something that's good and don't do it.

I have battled Bipolar Disorder since I was a young teen and I have episodes were I felt I was suicidal.

I think a lot of people go through times in their own lives were they feel suicidal or like hurting themselves.

I have a friend who thinks about it..I personally dont ever think about it. I think that it is horrible..because there is always ppl in the world that care about u..even if u think there's not..somewhere there is someone..even if u havent meet them yet and you are hurting the people who care about u,cause they could NeveR see you again. Also You CAN make life better if u try. You dont have to be depressed, you can do something about that.
