Okay what's with this? Today I get a call from friend asking me to meet him down the street, so I go. Now I get there and he's asking me to go in the store to get condoms for him. Now I fail to understand why some teens wont buy then, its not like anyone is going to question what your doing with them. Why do you think teens hate to go and buy them? After all if you think about it, you are saving your life in a way.

well. Its like this. If you are going into a store where you know where someone works, you dont wanna go in there and buy condoms. That shows you are active, and there is the possibility of them telling youre parents, hence the problem. Other than that, then idk lol.

Well yeah even I go to a place that they don't know me , but I buy them myself.

It makes no difference to me. I walk in and buy them.

Well. I can see how some people are nervous to buy them, because from what I've noticed being in the grocery store and all, there are some girls who don't even like to buy tampons out in the open. I don't understand why, I'll just go and buy them no sweat. Same with condoms, KY Liquid, whatever. Doesn't really bother me. And I'll buy stuff like that in front of my co-workers, it's really not that big of a deal to me.

it used to bother me to buy stuff like that but now idk. i mean everyone uses them and its better to be safe then sorry.

when i first bought them, my thing was, everyone knows everyone here and i didn't want someone to see me and tell my mom or anything. but now i just don't care. i mean i buy them and w/e else i need. like andrea said. it's all stuff we need. and that was when i was 14. and i was scared shitless that my mom would kill me if she ever found out.

i think most are scared because of one getting caught buying them (shop keeper telling mum/dad/sister etc)
or wont buy/wear them at all simply because of peer pressure (There m8(s) braggin how they have sex without a condom or they talk to there m8s about condoms and there m8(s) reply wat you want condoms 4? they r just a waste of time/money etc)

if you are worried about getting spotted why not visit your doctor/gp/family planning clinic as they can offer free convidencial advice and even provide you with the condoms for free.

I think they are scared of getting caught or someone looking at them crazy upside their darn head.

I think its better off having people look at you crazy then have a kid on the way in nine months.

a person might be afraid that they might see someone and that their friend would think or spread a rumor around about what is going on.

Never really had the problem, can buy whatever I want where I am and underage isn't a problem.

I don't see a problem with going into a store and buying them. It's not like somebody hasn't seen someone else buy them before. I was with my friends, and these boys kept looking at one of my friends becasue she bought some. It's not even a big deal.

Some people here get them from the bathroom of the SunCo cause their free. I don't know why people are all afraid about it. I had alot of friends ask me to buy them for them, and I was like "umm...ok.." So I walk in and get them.

Ok really people. I know many many many schools around america have condoms. My sons middle school provids them. My daughters school provides them. Free of charge. Family planning clinics provide them. These places are more discreet I would think.

My highschool basicly tells us not do have sex, however when I look around the halls I see a girls ready to pop.

Yeah and what responsibilty does the boy have in this? Or the girls have had immaculate conception like Mary did. Or the girls blew on their thumbs a wee bit to hard. Life in America's schools arent all like that unless you are home schooled.

The boy as the same responsibilty the girl has, both should use protection.
