birth control pill are pretty effective but shouldnt be used as a stand alone contreception.

also there are various types of the birth control pill.

well it helps if you do if he's not using protection. If a condom is used however, he should finish inside you.

if you get pregnate on the pill and dont know and continue to take the pill...will it kill the baby?

If you continue to take it for a long period of time after you're pregnant, it's possible. But if it's like not even a month, then it's nothing to worry about. If you were to take it for like 1- 1.5 months, then yes that could create complications with the pregnancy and harm the baby.

yay! i got my doc to put me back on the pill. thank god. was pissing me off for a while there. but yea. i figure i'm good now. i don't need condoms cause even if by some weird twist of fate i did end up pregnant i have the means to support a baby and i know shane would stick around. lol.

She should use the pill and you need to use a condom. That makes it more safe, but the only true way to be safe is not have sex at all.

It can cause a certain type of birth defect in males.
Women should ask their doctors about this sort of thing because this is probably not the best place to get medical information.
