Suppose the U.S. were to initiate the type of reparations program Obama's church buddies call for - should Obama receive a share? A half share? Or none at all?

He's African-American. Literally. His father was African and his mother was American.

So none of his ancestors were victimized by the "Man." I heard Obama's buddy Pfather Pfleger spewing the idiotic argument that whites (who's ancestors immigrated here since slavery ended) should still pay reparations being they've enjoyed wealth of the nation that was born during the era of slavery. By that standard, shouldn't Obama be paying reparations? Half reparations at least?

Well I don't know the details but surely if these reparations were paid, they would be paid by the Government, thereby by all tax payers? What form are these reparations supposed to come in? Cash payment to anyone who has an African lineage? Or perhaps as some targeted assistance in the form of socio-economic programs aimed at poverty that could perhaps traceable as as social outcome of the historical perspective?
