Default The case of hit and run!

Well, this weekend there was a traffic accident in copenhagen, with two ,now dead pedestrians. Turns out it was a hit and run driver, who turned him self in a couple of days after, but here's my point, actually there is a few.

The police informed the news media, that the car they were looking after, was a taxicab, gray, with an arabian (or close to that, by looks) driver.

It turned out that it was a caucasian guy, in a red WV van. So how the hell can the police describe the taxi and taxicab driver this accurate, when there never were one? This really gets me going, cause the entire staff of taxi drivers in copenhagen has been looking at their arabian colleagues, like the were all guilty as charged.

Also, in the latest two year or so, there has been a increased number of hit and run drivers here in Denmark, what about where you live, are people driving like crazy too? The government here, are now talking about punishment, and the lack of that, in these cases. It sounds like laws are being made better and more consequent. Sounds good to me, by the way. It can't be right, that pedestrians can't walk anywhere without being afraid of drivers who drives way too fast, just because they're in a hurry.
..........And on the first night, god made coffee!

I don't see any evidence here that people are driving any crazier than usual. There are some people who are idiots and don't deserve licenses, who have illegal drag racing for example. But there have always been a few like that.

Here if you kill someone due to careless/bad driving it is a serious criminal offence and you will go to prison for years.

Hey...not sure on the hit and run, but was close to being victimized in the same way but my fate would have been that from two females having a hayday ride on some kind of hallucinagenics, as least from what I imagined. I was a young woman of 24, getting out of my vehicle and walking on the pedestrian walkway into Shnucks... about 100 feet away from me was a orange older Charger, I looked both ways saw them, and had plenty of time to make my 12 foot walk across to the store. Suddenly they floored the vehicle and to my horror had plans to run me over without any reservations at all, I saw two females lauphing at the wheel, had not I decided to hall !@#$ they would have hit me. Well I became irate, jumped back into my car and literally blasted my way to catch up to them and kill them both...ya that was how angry I was, let me tell you, they were gone in minutes. I proceeded to go into neighborhoods trying to sift them out and nothing. It was a horrible day for me, what was wrong with these women, I had two babies, and that day was one of my better days, I had a chance to get out a bit and do some long overdue shopping I needed to do, had my mother watching my children, and here I was almost murderd for the fun of it. This happen in Missouri in a little town called Fenton. A day I will never forget..probably by the grace of God I did not fall and made it over the pedestrian walk..ya so whats up with that?

I haven't seen any crazy taxi drivers, maybe it is because I live here.

Anyway, in the last month the news have focused on the illegal taxi drivers in Oslo.
I don't know exactly what they've been doing but they have been driveing for years, and got a lot of money in these years.

Bad driving is a serious problem here in the United States. But nobody seems to care. We are killing each other at the rate of 43,000 people a year, and have been doing it for decades.

Pedestrians are routinely hit, and a significant number of the drivers haul butt. Passing on the right has become routine, as people can't be bothered to wait on slower moving traffic.

It's a mess, and I wonder about the sanity of the human race.
