There's always that chance I could be wrong, but I trust my instincts on this one. The moderating/admin staff could help put this to rest immediately by checking wherespapa accounts IP address against rjwood account for similarities and letting us know.

I don't think there is a written rule against people using more than one account so I don't see any reason why the community shouldn't know who is who. I also don't think rjwood/wherespapa should receive any kind of administrative action either being the rules don't cover this. Its just another form of being disingenuous - and that's not against the rules.

However, I would say that even if it turns out there's no chance these two are the same, and I'm wrong, the members here need to decide for themselves how to respond to posters who obviously are only posting to stir up trouble and get attention.

But we won't have to guess much longer provided the staff cooperates and checks it out and lets us know. I've told you I'm sure its RJ, how sure are you it is not? Interested in a wager of some sort?

With ISPs the way they are, and not knowing how RJ/wherespapa gets his connection, its possible they can't pin it down to a single IP, but if they are two different people in two different areas of the country, the IP information can show it most definately can not be RJ. How certain are you that will happen?

The respective addresses of rjwood and wherespapa are consistent with them being the same person, but they do not prove it. I don't want to violate their privacy so I won't say anything further about that. Each poster here will have to make up his or her own mind about it. It's really irrelevant anyway. If wherespapa is a brand new member of the forum, then his posts will speak for themselves. If it's someone trying to be cute, then that's okay too, and he will be treated just like any forum member---if he gets out of hand, then the staff will consider what should be done.

My official position is that as long as wherespapa doesn't do anything other than annoy people, he's welcome to post here. If anyone has a problem with any posts by anyone they can use the 'report post' button and the staff will review it.

You're right. We're looking into it. The rules should be consistent. I don't register on a regular basis, so I had no idea the rules were different there.

I'm confused why are you calling for the mods to get involved here. What a person's screen name is, is really irrelevent. You're not in charge here are you? (unless secretly you are sdkub ... tin foil hats are pretty neat after all! )

What's more relevant is insulting other new and old members. IMO this thread topic itself is more of a violation of the forum rules. Or did you rewrite them?
