| Stirrer Of Shit | REACT: Some SA Apartments Banning Tattoos | WOAI.COM: San Antonio News Ain't living in a free country grand? If you want to cover your body with tattoos you're free to do so. If you don't want to rent your property to people covered with tattoos you don't have to. Thoughts? |

| Most people with tattoos scare me and they are pretty lazy too. If you can't respect how you were born, what can you respect. Seems pretty basic to me. |

| I see the Fnords. | Way to stereotype. And, all black people like fried chicken and watermelon, right? While I find the landlords policy distasteful, I fully support his right to rent to whoever he pleases. It's a non-issue if I ever saw one. |

For just an instant, have a glimpse, a vision, of life through my eyes. It is a staggeringly joyous perspective, a view of how each person's choices can make their own life better. It is a vision of the possible, of how things can and should be.

| Discussion starter | That's a bit bizarre really, I don't see why he should exclude people just because they choose to have tattoos, tattoos in no way reflect a persons personality. I know people from all walks of life with tattoos, lovely people! |

I just think its funny when people do things to themselve to look different, then whine when <gasp> they get treated differently. | |

| Stirrer Of Shit | In theory, yes, in reality, no. Ear piercing and non-faddish hair coloring are universally accepted where walking around with nails driven through your eyebrows and covered with tattoos is somewhat taboo. |

| Discussion starter | Well I hardly see tattoo's on arms as being taboo and they're generally accepted in society, despite being slightly uncommon. Head, neck and hand tattoo's are still seen as taboo though. (Things might be very different where you are though.) |

| It's interesting that in the future, people will be discriminated against for NOT being tatooed ... you know the mark of the beast and all. The key is to get your 6's when it's fashionable ... not too early, or you'll be a freak and be kicked out of your apartment. And not too late or you'll just starve. ![]() |
