| Discussion starter | Never done that, but I have sneezed and farted at the same time. That is on my top ten list of most painful experiences I've had in my life. My #1 is a branchioscope without any drugs. It's a procedure where they stick a "thin" (yeah, right) tube up your nose and down into your lungs. Go ahead and stick a pen up your nose the whole way through..... "Most patients prefer having this done than going to the dentist." That was 15 minutes of PURE fucking hell. I was in so much pain and screamed my ass off, but nobody could hear me because the tube restricted my voice box. Ya....that was not a fun time. They forgot to add that most people prefer doing this than going to the dentist if they are knocked out! A few months later I had an endoscopy and I MADE them knock me out, even if it was only for a few minutes. None of this is as painful as what a lot of people go through, especially people in the line of fire in the armed forces and police officers. I admit it, I'm a wuss. But my #2 pain of all time is dry heaving. Due to a medical procedure I had when I was a kid, I had the ability to vomit taken away from me. Most people, when they hear this think that's cool. It's not, trust me. If I can get it over within a minute vs 2 days of non-stop dry heaving, I would much rather do that. Luckily I have an immune system and stomach made of fire-hardened steel. ) |
