This reminds me of one of Aesop's fables. The only Segway that I've seen in person was used by a man with an artificial leg. There's a lot that we don't know about that woman. Does she have a condition that might limit her range? Does she have a part time job delivering Segways? Why isn't that baby wearing shoes?

Wow, society sure evolves with the help of technology. But maybe, that evolution, could be a devolution.

Wow, people became THAT lazy :/

But we should give the lady the benefit of the doubt, we don't know if she has leg problems, can't walk too much,etc...

Nevertheless, I want one too!

ROFLMAO! Hahahah! Real cool! I've seen those scooters before in Star Trek - I didn't think I would see one in real life in the photo you supplied - I had a real good belly laugh - thanks!

I have seen them a number of times in Seattle, it's not like the city is crawling with them or anything, but a few of the rich people have them and use them here.
They are fast too if you give it the juice. I saw one guy use the crosswalk on one and he had to be doing ten to twelve mph.

The technology is cool, with all the gyros and sensors, but come on 5000 for a scooter that is too big for the sidewalk and to small for the street.

Sure they fit on the sidewalk, but get two going in different directions and one guy drinking coffee and the other applying makeup and side walk becomes the street that I wouldn't walk on.

They are about as practical as half a golf cart for twice the money. all novalty

what gets me is the idiot trying to control two vehicles with a baby.
Reminds me of those baby carriers on bicycles, I used to cringe when I saw them. The first thing to hit the road is the babies head, morons...
