Hello all. My name is David. I'm new to *nix, which led me to Ubuntu Forums and, now, Social Discussion.

Although I'm merely an amateur student of philosophy, I intend to post many stimulating and original threads concerning the history of western philosophy on this forum.

I look forward to interacting with some of you when the occasion arises.
