Lightbulb Is your state or province the best to live in?

I would move to North Carolina to be with my cousins and some of my family. Also, theres nothing wrong with Texas except that the weather is crazy! 73 degrees in midwinter then the next day its 32 degrees. But what do you think about your state or province?

I live in the provence of Quebec. I don't really like it here because everything is french theres even a law here that if your store has an english name your not aloud having that sign. And also, the only way for me to become what I want to be when I get older ( I want to be a vet ) is to do it in french

I live in Michigan. The only amazing thing is seeing Canada and that's not a big deal. I'm going to be moving to Chicago when I go to art school.

Well I think if you have never been outside of your state then you would think that is awesome, but since I have seen outside of my state I can't say I think it's the best. I mean yeah I love Michigan because that's where I am from, but I seriously can't say it's the best.

^^^ Don't live in Singapore. I live there and it's so boring. And hot. And there are loadsa rules. eg. Can't chew gum. No littering otherwise you are fined $1000. No bringing durians in buses. Oh. and also the local people's accents are very annoying 'lah'. But yeah. your choicee.

I would love to live somewhere in America or Canada or maybe New Zealand. Yeah. That'll be cool.

Cold in winter; hot in summer.
Saskatoon's economy is booming right now.
Not to sure about rest of province. (Saskatchewan)
Housing is going nuts. A year ago a house could be
bought for 170,000; same house today would run about
220,000. That's just the average price. And houses
are usually selling above average.
Rents are just as nuts. A one bedroom apartment renting
for 450 a year ago could now easily rent for 700.
If this trend continues, I won't be able to afford to
live here in two years. And it most likely will.

Well, I like it here. Because I live in a relatively big city( 2 mill), I don't think there's much difference between living here or London, or Berlin, or something like that.
( By the way, Budapest is the only city in Hungary with over a million population, the second biggest city we have has about a quarter million, so not much. )
But maybe the people are different, and it's good to speak hungarian.

About 1/2 of that is what I hear about Israel, but I still plan on heading there. Must be a middle eastern thing?

In terms of things like weather, many aspects of the culture and diversity, my state is easily the best one in the Union.

In terms of things like individual freedoms, property rights, efficiency of government, its the worst.

used to Live in Ucluelet Vancouver Island. Small town, city 1.5hours away. Right by miles and miles of private beaches where one could surf. NO SNOW...winter consists of a few months of rain. But the winter storms are amazing when you can watch 30-50 foot waves crashing. The summer, march-september, is pretty much sun. Surfing, mountains, forests. Winter temp is avg 15-19 degrees. Summer id say around 24-35 degrees c. beautiful place

I live in California and it is too expensive to live here. I would like to move out of California even though I like this part of the state.
I live in the northern part of the state.

I live in California and I never understood the meaning of that song "Hotel California" but I think I do now. I think it says that people come here and then want to leave but they can't.
