CT, USA. Wouldn't live here if I had a choice.

It's expensive, conservative, and um, expensive. I'm moving to go to school next year in Amherst, MA....thank goodness.

Warm winters, cool summers.
Free health care and education and relatively cheap rent.
A minimum of 8 Mbit internet at every single spot in the country.
I think I'll stay

I live in a college town and more than a third of the people who are here are temporary residents (students). I would never live in another college town or in a town the economy of which is so dependent on one industry or company. Almost everything the college does has an impact on the community, especially on rents and property values.
