Yeah, yeah, yeah... tell me tell me tell me!!!I need to know now, or my head will 'splode! ![]() I'm also a bit surprised by the results. I had this feeling that most users here were closer to 30. Maybe it's just my thing for slightly older women. ![]()

| Stirrer Of Shit | The reason I grouped everyone 30 and over in one group is.... Ok, wait a sec, I need to back up. First the reason for the poll is I wanted to test a sort of hypothisis. During the short time I've been posting here I started to get the feeling there were a lot of imature participants... ...I was guessing the majority were 25 and under, but I broke it up in 4 year increments to sort it out even more. Now, why a 30 and over group? In my experience, somewhere around 30 is the age people usually start really gaining wisdom, self-control, and those other characteristics that seperate the mature from the imature. I don't think there's as noticeable a maturity level between a person who is 35 and the same person once they turn 45. But 20 and 30 makes a huge difference. Don't get me wrong and think I mean any offense towards the teenies and early 20-somethings. I don't. I said, did, and believed dumb things when I was that age too. Most people in western culture do too. |

| Be gentle, newcomer | Well now I don't feel so old now . I was waiting to see if someone would be older than me (and admit it), I turn 41 in July, My dog (the one in my avatar, recently passed away) is (was) older than a few of 'yall at 17. And I don't care for being lumped in with those 30 year olds ![]() |

(Hey, what are you looking at? I've got my fair share of matureness!)I did once try to join a forum related to some series of games, and the first question I asked was replied for by "LOL, STFU and RTFM n00b!" I've yet to see any post in here, or at ubuntuforums.org, that is even slightly similar to the one above. Extreme Coder

| Just made 48 years on this planet. Getting old sucks, but not as much as the alternative. The 30+'s now out number the 18-21's ;-) Last edited by markthecarp : 05-24-2007 at 07:16 AM. |
