I don't know enough about WoW, but a friend told me you could use the client to play it on other free servers. What's the best free server out there?(And one that isn't empty, I want one that's active)

free server sucks compared to Blizz. you never get descent speedes on free servers. they are (even more) glitchy. you have to use costum moods. its a pain.
the best thing about Blizz is you always know where your character is.

Ok then, I guess its too much trouble for nothing. I just can't bring myself into paying monthly more than what my average income is for what probably is another MMORPG grinder game

Actually Blizzard has "The Armory" where all your character information is stored. Just for fun, I'll post my char again with a link to the official page:
