Just wanted to share with you some great games Well at least I think they look cool that are coming out for the pc. I have always been more of a fan of PC games over any console.
Just seems to me on first person shooters its hard as balls to line up a shot compared to using a mouse much easier.

So here are some I am looking to get.

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare.
Always been a great fan of call of duty over medal of honor. better graphics better ai better everything. This new one looks stunning and supports cards with direct x10

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
From what I understand of this game but don’t get me wrong. Is it is all online play like any of the battlefield games out right now. No single player campaign from what I understand so far anyone know?

Gears of war is coming to pc!! I was thinking about getting this game and buying an xbox 360 just because of it but now I do not have to. GREAT NEWS!

Supreme commander comes out with a new game. Over 110 New units to fight with. This from what they say is not an expansion and instead is a game on itself. Sounds very cool to me. I only wish they did with the old TA and that was come up with a new unit each week we could download and play with for free.

STARCRAFT II

how many of those are vista only, like halo 2?

I dont even understand why they came out with vista or why anyone uses it lol. I know i wont for like another 2 or 3 years. But yes starcraft 2 almost sliped my mind lol I dont know how I think that ones only a month away or less! Awesome!

You can play against bots and even though thay have been praised for their "intelligence", I think thay are dumb as shit.

The uniqueness about ETQW is that its purely a teambased tactical fps. If you dont work as a team and distribute your classes correct amongst your team, you dont stand a chance to win. For example if all your coverts ops pick the sniper rifle, dont deploy a radar and just hide up in the mountains sniping people instead of using a disguise, spotting targets (vehicles, troops and turrets) and hacking, your team will loose. If you dont stay together with your team doing your objectives, but just collecting frags, you will loose.

The key term in this game is teamplay and that is really unique in a way I have never quite seen in an online fps before. The only game that is vaquely simmilar is Wofenstein: Enemy Territory, which is a free game (as in beer, not in speech ).

Another biggie with ET:QW is that the GNU/Linux client will be out soon. It runs well enough under wine bu will be much better once it's native...

As for the game play it's great! They have done a marvelous job with this game. The depth of play is very good. The more you play it the more you discover and the better it gets. Most online shooters the two different sides are kept very similar to help with the balance. What you end up with is the same thing on both sides just with different skins. With ET:QW the two sides are very different but some how the game is balanced.
