Adventure! Aha, I quite like this game, all though I fail to get anywhere, I need to sit down and have a proper go at it without doing anything else.
It's a basic CLI game, it comes with the bsdgames package.

Anybody else play it, or any similar games?

I played an online version of Zork recently. I was really into it and I made a map in AutoCAD so it would be easy to revise as I went along. I drew little pictures for each area and I was really getting into it. Then I learned that it just a very elaborate 404 page and didn't have the thief or the troll so I quit.

If Adventure is the same kind of thing, I'll have to go check it out. Is it in the repository?

I've got Zork 1, 2, and 3 on my iPhone. I still enjoy playing them, and have yet to unlock all of their secrets.

It takes me back to the days where I used to spend hundreds of hours playing MUSHes

Yeah, looks like the same kind of thing as Zork.
