Default Total War Series

I have played this series since ever it came out. It really makes me feel like I'm some powerful ruler who has huge armies at his command. The battles have like, thousands of soldiers on the map! This is the best strategy game I have played in my life(if not the best game I have played!).
The ones I have played are:
1)Shogun:Total War
2)Medieval:Total War I
3)Rome:Total War
4)Medieval:Total War II

The latest in this series is greater than ever!

Medieval Total War II:

I agree. It is one of the best strategy games of all times...along with Alpha Centauri. But I really do not think you can compare a strategy game to a FPS game, and say which is better. One has itensity, the other replayability.

Fromt the screenshots, it looks a bit like Age of Empires(I love it a lot, mainly 2, but 3 I don't like it as much)
Is it similar?

No. You get troops from the get go to set up and then you play out the battle.

I like TW Rome.

I thought Rome TW was good. Not great, but good. I might reload it and play it some more.
