| Quake 2 is indeed a great classic LAN game. If you're looking for an RTS, starcraft would definitely be the most popular option. Although, if you'd like something more classic, you could try the original AoE, Warcraft, or (more slow-paced) Settlers 2. Heroes of Might and Magic 2 (and 3) are also great Turn-Based strategy games. |

| Less than 3 miles from the sea | A great way of having a laugh especially if some of the players are not regular gamers is to play coop. This way the you can all have fun without the difference in skill level getting in the way. One of the best is Sevn Coop a half life mod.
