PS3 Firmware Update

For those of you interested in the next PS3 firmware update I just found this:

PlayStation 3 Firmware v. 2.00 Update Details | PlayStation Universe (PSU)

Quite a lot of new features, I like the fact you will be able to access the XMB while in game, hopefully this means I can message people while in game

I also read that Home is expected to be released in October, I look forward to that

I'd like to try Homebrew, know of any downgrader coming?

I haven't looked into homebrew on the PS3, I dont want to risk bricking it with the amount of money it cost
