I'd have to say three. One was okay, but I liked how there was more to do with 3, and I just overall found it more fun to play. The one I liked the least was two. I'm not sure why; it just didn't have the same feel as the other two.

you left one out, LOST LEVELS!!

That is my fav! Mainly because its actually a challenge, unlike the others.

That's not left out. SMB2 is "Lost Levels"! The US release was really Doki Doki Panic! Still, SMB2 was a pain. It had less replayability to me since it basically assumed you played and beat the first one, so it was hard!

All of them are great, so I voted for all of them. Although Mario 1 is a clasic

Mario 64 is one of the best Mario games too.

Id have to say Mario 1, what I wouldn't do to have my NES + Mario / Duckhunt back

I sold it to get a SNES when it came out.

Roms are good but theres nothing like forcing that huge cartridge into your NES and then having your hands start aching after half an hour of gaming due to the square controls, oh how I miss it

Classic NES-Style gamepads for the PC can replicate some of that

Lol yeah or the hours of untangling the cords or the frustrating hours of blowing in to your favorite game to get it working again...

Mario Kart 64. Then Super Mario World, then Super Mario 3, then Super Mario 64, then Super Mario 2, then Super Mario 1.

Of course, for "Best all around" I'd go with Super Mario All Stars & World in emulation, with hq4x enabled. Beautiful, and I have a better controller then the old snes one...

Mario 2!!! I really liked being able to choose the char best suited for the stage. Paper Mario has to be my favorite now that I am older.

I'm a big fan of all three!

And I really enjoy playing the old classics on my Wii
(as my old NES is too tired to load games anymore :P)
Hopefully, SMB3 will come soon!
