| My copy of Oblivion for PS3 arrived this morning, I owned this game when I had a 360 and the visual side of things on the PS3 version seems to be a lot more pleasing, this may be due to the fact I am now using a HDTV. Anyone else got Oblivion? If so what do you think of it, it is without a doubt one of my favorites ![]() |

| Drank to much Mountain Dew | I think the graphics are ok...not the best in the world, but still fairly impressive. I think the game is all to static though. And the voice-acting is horrible (Sean "Boromir" Bean does a nice job though). Oblivion is a good game, but I don't think it's the masterpiece everybody says it is. |

| Level 37 Bureaucrat | Pah! Consoles! pfffttt... I had Oblivion when it first came out for the PC ![]() Brilliant game. You guys played the Shivering Isles expansion yet? For me, it's one expansion pack too far, I've played through the game 2-3 times already (it's a massive game) and I'm a bit tired of it ![]() Maybe a new graphics card and cranking up the settings and enabling HDR might breathe new life into the game.... |

Oblivion IV has had hundreds of hours of gameplay for me. I await the sequel with great anticipation. | |

| yah the voices kind of gets to you after a bit... personally i think the game is so great beause of its vast replay ability. There are so many different ways to play the game, which means your investment wont get old too quickly. |

| I'm one of those people who like to re-start games and try new things. So, I'll start off with a sneaky thief-like character, play with him for about 10-20 hours, and then decide I want to try something new, like a magic user or a fighter. What's great is that Oblivion has a bunch of different classes for me to try out, and it keeps me interested for quite some time. However, after a couple of re-starts, I find that I have completed pretty much all of the side-quests that are available to you at the beginning, leaving me with just the main story, which I'm not too fond of. So, I end up getting quite tired of the game. |

| Interested participant | Oblivion si an amazing game. it is one of my favorites, up there with Final Fantasy VII. I think, though, that Reality Pump is trying to put itself up there with the upcoming Two Worlds game. It is looking like it will be another good one, and the online multiplayer mode definitely is a plus. |

| I've put at least 200 to 300 hours into Oblivion so I obviously liked it, but it still doesn't compare to Morrowind. There were a few things they fixed and a couple of things they added that were vaguely lacking, but overall what they broke doesn't make up for the improvements. I'm curious how it runs on a console. Especially on the PS3. The PS2 was not noted for handling ports and load times very well so I'd be interested to know if you think the frame rate is ok and if you time to make a sammich between new screens. With Morrowind on the Xbox, I had time to make a 3-course meal at every new area. ![]() But for all it's shortcomings, (just a few, really), the Dark Brotherhood quest is possibly the best thing evar! |
