You can play using game cards bought locally. Somewhat like a pre pay mobile you would buy the card, go online and enter the code I guess to credit your game account. No online purchase needed :]

No excuse now; Welcome to World of Warcrack :P

I played WoW for a few weeks. At the time the playerbase was seemingly a bunch of kids. Those kinds of games in general have lost their appeal.

I've got very addicted again... working my way to level 70. I tend to play solo most of the time anyway, and only grouping up for tricky quests or instances.

For some reason since I started playing again a month or so ago, I just have to do that last quest, oh, and the one that has just been given to me... and before I know it, it's the middle of the night

If the 'few weeks' was when it originally came out, then you actually sampled it at its best, the average age of the players was I feel a little higher than now. The players who were there from day one tended to be the slightly older mmorpg types (not entirely but to a larger degree), rather than the Half Life/CS kids which flooded in after the first year; which have now unfortunately rather taken over to a large extent.

The mass appeal of WoW has a lot to answer for in some respects

My suggestion if you ever tried again, finding a guild with mature attitudes as a baseline would be a good start... Kinda like the one my wife and I run I guess, small but friendly and casual.

Tell me about it

I took a couple months off, just got a little bored of it I guess. Didn't log in one day and before I knew it a week had passed, then a month. Now I am back in full swing leveling up my druid went from 20-45 in two weeks a while ago, then another push and hit 58 last night after picking her up again last Monday

Think this is my 6th to 60, one at 70 (3 or 4 between 60-70) and a few on the way to 60. Fun but time consuming and honestly, I am a casual player

I am recovering, but for a while there I was on every night from when I came home 'til 2:AM or so.

Out of a lack of funds (and my wife's nagging) I let my time run out. I may get back on with a lighter commitment to the game in a week or two.

I have a 31 lvl Tauren Hunter and a 19 lvl troll mage. I also a 12 lvl elf thief I rarely used after his initial creation.

Anyone else "on the wagon"
