World of Padman

Does anyone here play this game. I know compiledkernel does, but a few servers have disappeared recently, and it would be great to have an ubuntu users server for it.

I've never heard of it before, but it looks quite good. What server do you play on?

It's loads of fun. I have played it a few times. Unfortunately I don't have much time for games lately.

I've played with it a bit. I like it quite a lot altough the learning curve is steep as most of the other folks are pretty rock hard at it, so you need to die a lot to get half decent but the maps are fun. Reminds me of micromachines racer game where you used to race across table tops and the likes.

This game sounds really fun, too bad that after my whole night of downloading the file was f@#3$#$ corrupt!

You should run the installer by typing

Code:

sudo sh worldofpadman.run

This will start an ncurses installer, and allow you to install it system wide. Follow the default settings in the installer unless you know of something that you would like to change.

Run it simply by typing
