It's not hard, there are plugins. But it's a possible security hole if code can be executed.

The security issue would only affect users if exploited not the board itself, well unless the implementation is done in a very stupid way.

I've reported several posts in this thread that were very off topic and were sexually explicit porn, showing pics of nude men and women having sex.

And it is some of the new members who are doing this. I hoped that they've been warned or banned. It's just not fair to and for any of us to have to put up with this type of idiotic and sick behavior!!

The thread' Count up to 1,000 Plus was deleted because it got spammed with the same sick and controversial behavior.

I also reported spamming posts in it as well.

As someone told me recently, the world is chock-full of idiots, spammers and morons. I dispise these kinds of people myself.

Thanks for your help reporting the posts. It makes it easier for the moderators to get them deleted.

What has happened is a spammer is likely running some sort of bot that registers new users here and then posts the spam.

Please keep reporting all the posts that look like spam. If you think anything is especially bad, report the post and PM me, and I'll see it when I check my email and make a special trip to JD to take care of it.

I kind of figured that it was some sort of spambot that's been invading the forum. This has never happened before that I know of. It has happened constantly at my forum.

Never thought I's say this before, but it looks as though you might have gained a new more positive role, outlook and perspective on things, and that's good. I hope that your job as a staff member runs very smoothly.

We've had a few spats in the past, but I hope now, that we can bury the hatchet and move on. I don't allow those individuals to do that either at my forum. They get stopped and banned right away!!
