| Here's how it works. First you respond to the person above you (if they asked a question)(which I obvously can't do), then tell them how weird whatever it is that they do (which I also can't do. Then you state something you do that you or others think is weird. Then (if you want) you can ask if they do something you think is weird (eat uncooked macoronni ect.) There it goes... I eat rice every day for luch and dinner, and I'm not of any oriental background. Do you eat uncooked macoronni? |

| Stirrer Of Shit | I knew a guy who never drank during a meal. Different, but not weird. When I sit in a restaurant or bar or such, I have to have my back to a wall and the rest of the place visible to me. When I am in the movie theatre, I have to be near the aisle - so I never go to evening movies (crowded) and always wait until they've been out a while so I can choose my seat. |

I'll let someone else comment on your obsession with Japanese stuff. I like the Japanese myself, but not because of their cartoons. | |

| well, the cartoons as you put it (all of the fanatics call it anime) are childish, and probably only watched by kids. And in no way shape or form is that the best that Japan has to offer. |

| They don't taste anything alike chiefbutz ![]() They sometimes have coated buscuit sticks at weddings, which are similar to Pocky. Or, they may also have biscuit sticks that you dip or run under a chocolate fountain (mmm!!!) Just to touch on anime, I don't think you're weird to watch it, nor do I think it's childish. Of course there are some shows geared toward children that you may get funny looks if you watch (Ojamomo Doremi, Puchi Puri Yuushi), but there are many shows geared towards adults that would either be too graphic for children, have a very deep plot that would be very difficult for children to follow, or are designed to mess with you. They can and do often touch on serious issues and topics. Welcome to the NHK!, Elfen Lied, Serial Experiments Lain, xxxHolic, Last Exile, and Wolf's Rain are good examples of popular anime in the USA that are a little bit more involved than the average Tokyo Mew Mew, Naruto, Pokemon, or DragonBall Z that you find, which are geared toward a younger audience. PS: Anime is not the term only "fanatics" (Otaku) use. It's just the general term for Japanese or Korean animation. Some call it Japanime as well. I like anime (a lot! Planning a 100 Geneon DVD order through RightStuf this week ).My favorite kinds of music are Jpop/Kpop/Anime and chip (or chipped). |

| I know that it is not the only term used, but introducing new topics to people can be a little hard at times so usually you have to state it simpily |
