Default Avatars

It would be nice if the size restriction was increased a bit...not the pixels, but the data size. My avatar is far belows the pixel limit, but right at the limit on data size. Even as it is, it displays much smaller than it does on other websites. It is a GIF, would a different format be smaller and yet not effect the image characteristics?

You can resize avatars here:

Resize Images Online at ResizePic

Edit:

From the Avatar section in the User CP:

"The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)."

I would guess, that GIF's might be a problem.

Maybe use an avatar that isn't animated? Animated gif is so last-century anyway.

Yes, being an animated GIF is a problem, even for ResidePC, because what they output was simply black.

I'll keep living in the century that I choose.
