I'm afraid it is time for me to move on

When the sale of these forums occurred, I gave my resignation to the new owner. I offered to step down as admin and move to regular staff, or even to step down from the staff altogether.

I was truly honored when the new owner asked me to stay on as admin and to serve as the main voice of the forum.

There have been some communication difficulties behind the scenes that have bothered me a bit. As a result, I have decided that I would rather spend my time doing other things.

As I go, all I want to say is that I wish everyone here, and these forums, and their new administration, the very best. I hope this place truly becomes all that we hoped it would be and better.

Mathew, I appreciate the assistance and time you've put in helping us out with the transition. I'm sad that we'll be loosing a key member to commmunity.

Personally, I'd love to see you stick around. I totally respect your decision to step down as staff, but I appreciate your participation in discussions.

Thanks. I'm taking a vacation from all forums and other forms of online life for the month of August. I'm going to do some traveling and I'll not have consistent internet access, which is a good thing. I need a bit of a break.

If I can, I'll stop in once or twice in that time and then I'll really check things out again in September.
