I'm impressed with the new layout, makes the forum alot more attractive, and will keep me from posting only in Off Topic Talk, and I don't mind the fact that you sold, everyone wants a little cash and better selling to someone else then just closing down/giving up, but why the disgusting name change?

I have to say I prefered the tiled layout to the big long list - it was easier to find the right forum. Also, the pages view was nice for really long (+100) posts. That said, I like how all the political forums are merged into one.

Thanks for the nice comments. The name change...well, the site name probably wasn't included in the sale, just the database. That's my guess, anyway.

It's really annoying to have to scroll indefinitely on the long threads. I'm OK with making the pages a bit longer, but there needs to be a page break somewhere to make it easier to get to the new posts, IMO.

I can't seem to find the adjustment for the default level in the Admin control panel. You can adjust this as a user in UserCP (top of the page). In UserCP, select "Edit Options" on the left, then scroll down to "Number of Posts to Show Per Page" and reset it to whatever you would prefer.

I think its a shame theat Ubuntu-geek has had to let this go as he did admin it well and had an input and having an owner that has an input is nice, i feel anyway.

I apreciate i had disapearred for a while, had a lot to do and i cam eback to this. i personaly didint notice that change, apart from to the front page, i have to say i preferd the old style. Oh and of course the lack of posts from UG.

Anyway in conclustion if the new owner is a good responsible owner that will bring sensible moderation and running of the forum then fair enof. But i hope he/she/they/it does post here regularly and is a "known owner".

Its a shame to see members that i have known from my times here, from when it was a tad smaller, have decided to leave but currently i wont leave.

Hope all that makes sense.
