Another forum regarding politics may be nice but would not solve your particular problem, as you'll probably get the same answers regardless in which forum you're posting them.

It seems someone decided that there should no longer be an Environment forum. I started a thread there because it was the best category, now it's in US politics!! The next best category would be Science & Technology but it's really about the global environmental consequences of technology.

When I first joined this forum there was only one section. How refreshing I thought, a forum that doesn't divide everyone in to the little groups. Just one big discussion... Well no more, we have so many sections some don't see a post in days and days. Thousands of members with hundreds of posts a week, great a lively active forum. Just too many sections... May I suggest a little pruning and consolidation.

I would like to suggest a catagory for 'money'. That would give us an opportunity to discuss saving, spending and investing, along with retirement plans, insurance and so on.

I honestly don't have any problem with anyone's answers, just that a "general politics" section would be good I think. There's a lot of things I'd post there instead of American politics.

I think it would be nice to separate US politics from the rest of the lot. We're not all Americans and non-US political threads tend to get ignored and shoved down the page...
