| Stirrer Of Shit | I'm never out to get fuckin wasted. I like Sam Adams, but I rotate between about half a dozen ales or give something new a try now and then. |

| Stirrer Of Shit | I think if I could only have one brand the rest of my life, it would be Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. |

| one thing i just want to ask as well is why american beer is so much weaker? a university friend of mine brings budweiser back from california where he originates, its only 3% strength, budweiser is 5% here (horribe tasting beer too, but i digress). do americans get drunk more easily? i know japanese/chinese people genetically get drunk more easily. | the wicked one | Once on the Oktoberfest I saw a group of US teenagers so fucking drunk, lol. About 20 teenagers, 17,18 years old, 5 lost conciousness. Some girls of the group started crying and yelling "they are dead, omg, they are dead" They weren't... Ambulances arrived etc. |

| I'd have to say Budweiser when I drank beer every day. Now it's only on weekends when I eat out. |

Everytime I see some idiot drinking a Corona I want to slap him. That piss was what the Mexicans pushed off on tourists. Then, someone made a nice marketing move and tried selling it in the U.S. and morons started paying premium prices for what is essentially Mexican budget beer. Don't get me started on Fosters. I spent several weeks in Australia and I don't think I saw anyone drinking Fosters - I don't think I even saw any advertising anywhere for it. You can put carbonated piss in a can, water it down some, say its imported from pretty much anywhere, and American will pay premium prices for it - well most of them anyway. Then there are the Bud and Miller drinkers. I guess I can't be that hard on them, they don't know any better, but there's no excuse for it now. There's too much good beer out there to drink that crap. As for why that junk is lower in alcohol, I can only assume its the nanny state looking out for our best interests for us. Here in Hawaii they have even more stupid rules. Not only can I not legally sit in a bar and have a smoke with my drink, I can't have a beer with my whisky unless the whisky is in a shot glass. The reasoning is that if you have two glasses of alcohol containing beverages in front of you, you'll get drunk faster. I've never tried it, but as far as I know, I don't think there is a way to drink out of two glasses at the same time. According to the nanny state's dumbass laws, I could sit there and pound shots as fast as I want, but I can't have a glass of beer to back my Scotch rocks or whatever. | |
