Default Strangest mix that was surprisingly good ?

Years ago I got given a cheese+peanut butter+strawberry jam sandwich, and have been eating them and introducing them to people ever since.

At the thought of the mix they say "eugh!!", but after trying it there is the customary look of surprise and a "Actually, that's quite nice".

What strange mixes do you know of that have turned out to be quite good ?

Warm bagels dipped in yoghurt
Tuna and chickpeas
Pasta with balsamic vinagrette

There's definitely more, but I can't think of them right now. My cooking generally consists of seeing what I have in the fridge and mixing things together. Word of warning: don't put mustard instead of mayonnaise in potato salad. Gross.

Frenchfries dipped in iced cream isn't a bad mix.
I also like peanut butter on my iced cream... that doesn't seem strange to me though.

Charbucks mentioned mustard.

Me and a friend of mine used to eat pilchards on toast:

And the funny thing was that each time we ate one we dared each other to put more and more mustard on top.

WARNING: Do not do this if you are suffering with sinusitis. The mustard will go up into the cavities of your skull and make you feel that your head is on fire. I mean it. Really. I nearly started crying because of the pain.

So anyway, pilchards on toast with mustard.

nutella and cheese sandwich, can be spreadable cream cheese too.
One drunken evening I tried a nutella and crisps sandwich; not bad at all, but it made a few of my friends actually vomit.

Sugar cookies and nacho cheese sauce. I love almost all combinations of sweet and spicy.
