Wow this thread was the first time I've heard of using Worchestershire sauce on cheese on toast But a fine idea, I'll have to try it of course.

After reading about what was supposed to be the finest cheese on toast ever made (some shop in London makes it), I tried: grate Red Leicester and mature Cheddar, mixed with minced onions and a tiny bit of minced garlic. Grilled until slightly brown & bubbling and serve immediately

Normally when I have a peckishness for the cheese on toast I just have sliced cheddar on wholemeal, though...

This is the method for me, except I can never even be bothered to grate the cheese so I just slice it.

Worcestershire sauce is virtually essential though.
