Chapter One: Could, I be Pregnant?
It Been Six weeks now since that October night that Dean Rape Paige and she still have not been able to talk about it beside to Hazel and Ashley. Even sing the song poor thing in front of Dean at the Battle of the Bands did not help her. Now Paige is beginning to worry that she could have another Issues that relation to the whole event from that night with Dean. Now she really wishes she would have gone and get check out by a doctor after it happen, Like Hazel had told her to. She comes back from the bathroom and Look at the clock on her Night stand and see she really needs to get ready for school, but she just lay back down in her bed and fall back to sleep. Dylan Knock on his sisters’ door at 7:30am, when he sees she is still not up.

Dylan: Paige you need to get up for school.

When Dylan does not get an answer he open his sisters’ bedroom door and walk into her room and shake his sister to wake her up. Paige rolls over and looks at him.

Dylan: You need to get ready for school now it is 7:33am.
Paige: Is mom or dad still home?
Dylan: no they both had early meet at work today, so they have already left for work.
Paige: I'm not feeling too good do you think if I call mom she would call me in sick today?
Dylan: You know mom and dad rule if you not up to going to school you suppose to talk to them before they leave for work, so you know she will not call you into school sick.

After Paige is ready, they leave for school and once at school Paige head straight to home room class In the M.I. lab with Mr.Simpson, and take a seat in the first chair by the classroom door. Hazel Walk into the Lab and sit down next to Paige.
Hazel: Paige is everything ok, you miss Spirit squad Practice this morning, Manny had to run it for you?
Paige: Sorry about that Hazel’s I over sleep. I have been feeling funky all weekend. I think I'm coming down with something.
Hazel: You are looking a little pale Paige what has been feeling Funky?
Paige: I had a headache and my stomach felt Funky.
Terri, Ashley and Ellie walk into the room and sit down by Hazel and Paige.
Ashley: It sound like you come down with the stomach flu.
Paige: I hope not the spirit squad has the first cheer meet of the season this weekend.

Paige: I hope so.

Paige: What taking Mr.Simpson, so long to get to class.
Hazel: Class does not start for a half minute still.
Mr.Simpson walks into the classroom right as the bell ring and Paige rise her hand. Mr. Simpson looks over at her and sits down at his desk.
Mr.Simpson: Yes Paige what do you need?
Paige: I need to use the restroom.
Mr.Simpson: class just starting can you whit?
Paige: No
Mr.Simpson: Are you sure you can't whit?
Paige: I really cannot Mr. Simpson.
Mr.Simpson: Ok you can go then.

Paige stands up and walks out of the class and runs to the bathroom. When Paige comes back into the classroom three minute later, she walks up to the teacher Desk.

Mr.Simpson: Yes Paige
Paige: I need to go to the nurse.
Mr.Simpson: and why do you need to go see the nurse?
Paige: I throw up in the restroom.
Mr.Simpson: Ok, here a pass for the Nurse Station, take you thing with you.

Paige goes over to the desk she was sit at and grab her book bag and purse and then goes to the nurse station and take a seat and wait to be seen by the nurse. While she waiting she has the thermometer in her mouth to check to see if she has a fever.

Nurse. Mckey: You do not have a fever, So is there anything I should know before sent you back to class Paige?
Paige: I throw up in the restroom before come here.
Nurse. Mckey: Ok then I'm going have you go home, I'll call you mom to let her know I'm sent you home, and here a pass saying you can leave school and also a pass to let your Bother out of school long enough to take you home then comes back.
Paige walks to the classroom her brother in and knocks on the door, Mrs. Kawn open up the classroom door.
Mrs. Kawn: Paige can I help you?
Paige: I have to go home sick and the nurses wrote my brother a pass to let him out of school long enough to drive me home.
Mrs. Kawn looks at the pass then wave at Dylan.

Dylan: What Mrs. Kawn?
Mrs. Kawn: You need to take you sister home, then come back to school.
Dylan: Ok

Dylan grabs his book bag and car key and walks out to his car with his younger sister, he looks at her and sees she looks pale. As Dylan drive her home Paige rest her head on the seat head rest and close her eyes.

Dylan: Paige we are at the house now. Are you going be ok by yourself or do you want me to stay with?
Paige: Go back to school I will be fine, Beside the nurse call mom to let her know I am been sent home form school sick.
Dylan: Ok, But if you need me, call my cellphone and I'll come home.
Paige: Ok, that right Mom will not be able to get out of work today she has important meeting all day.
Dylan: And so does Dad, so are you sure you do not want me to stay with you.
Paige: No, If i need you I'll call you cellphone.

Dylan watches to make sure Paige get in the house then he heads back to school. The first thing Paige does is to change back into her PJ then Look at her student planner and count the days since her last monthly. Talk to herself.

Paige: No, I can't be I have not had a monthly since the end of September. This is not good, What I'm I gonna do now. Paige start cry and Does not stop till she falls asleep.

Paige walks up two hours later and runs into the Bathroom and gets sick to her stomach, when she comes out of the bathroom her mom is sit on her bed and she stands up and walks up to her daughter.

Paige Mom: ( Feels Paige Forehead) How are you feel Baby?
Paige: Not good, My stomach all Funky feeling and I can't keep anything down.

She pulls away from her mom and run back into the bathroom, and starts getting sick again.

Paige mom: I'm takes you to the Doctor right now Paige, I'm worry about you. Because you do not have a fever, but you are indeed sick to you stomach.
Paige: I'm not change, I'm going like this.
Paige Mom: That fine.

At the Health Center Two days later. Paige, her mom, Dad and Brother are all whit for the result of the blood work that Dr. Eeyore has take after Paige told her mom and Doctor’s about being rape six weeks earlier and how she did not report the rape, or see a doctor afterwards. Paige is resting her head on her mom shoulder when the doctor walks into his Office and lays the folder on his desk. He then takes a set in the chair behind his desk.

Dr. Eeyore: Paige, have you filled you Dad and brother in on what happened and do you want then in the room when I tell you the results of the blood work?
Paige: Yeah I have and yes I want then in the room with me.
Dr. Eeyore: The good news is you HIV/Aids tests come back negative, and you also test negative for all other sexual transmit disease. But the Pregnancy test I run come back positive. You are with Children, If you would have gone right to the ER after the rape happens the ER doctor would have made sure that you do not get pregnant by having you take a morning after pill, but since you did not come into six weeks later. You have to make a choice about what you want to do.
Paige: What are my Choices?
DR. Eeyore: You are only six weeks along so you could have an abortion Still, but the fetus does have a heat beat at six weeks. The second choice is you could give the baby up for adoption or last choices you can keep the baby yourself.
Paige: Do I have to make my choice right?
Dr. Eeyore: No, you can take you time.
Paige: I can tell you right now I do not want to have an abortion.
Mom and Dad: Good because will would not have signed for you to have one.
Dr. Eeyore: That give you seven months and two weeks for you to make your choice about keep the baby or put the baby up for adoption.

Chapter Two: I’m going to be a mom!
Friday morning before school Paige pulls Manny aside and into the gym. She closes the door behind them.

Manny: Paige what the big deal I was heading towards the restroom!
Paige: I can't cheer in the meet this weekend or the rest of the year I need you to take over as Head’s of spirit squads this year.
Manny: What wrong Paige?
Paige: (Touch her stomach) I am Pregnant, but please don't say anything to anyone else about it yet, I'm not ready for everyone to know yet.
Manny: Ok, I won't say anything.

Manny walks out of the gym and heads to the restroom and Paige takes a seat in the stand and stare into space. Talking to herself, how is my life going to changes. What is everyone at school going to thinks about me now? She starts crying again, Just as Mr. Armstrong walks into the gym and sees that Paige is crying he walks up to her.

Mr. Armstrong: Is everything ok Paige?
Paige: No, I find out yesterday I am pregnant, Dean’s condom must have had a hole, god way did he not stops when I said no? Why did he keep going, and why did I not go to the doctor right after it happed and reported it? Then I would not have to deal with being Pregnant.
Mr. Armstrong: I think you should go talk to Ms. Sauve.
Paige: Ok

Paige heads to Ms. Sauve Office, who see Paige right away as soon Paige start talking she does not stop to she has told the whole story.

Ms. Sauve: Paige, I wish you would have come to me soon. Does you Mom and Dad know about you being rape and being pregnant?
Paige: Yeah
Ms. Sauve: Do you want to keep the Baby or give it up?
Paige: I will not be able to give up a child after carry him or her for nine months and I can't have an abortion either, So I'm going keep the baby.

The next week at school. Hazel comes running up to Paige when she walks into school on Monday morning.

Hazel: Where were you this weekend you miss the cheerleader meet and that never happens?! Also, what with Manny being the acting head of Spirit Squad for the rest of the year?
Paige: I can't cheer for the next seven months and two weeks is all.

Paige runs into the restroom and into one of the stall. She then closes the door and start cry again.
Emma: Paige is everything ok?
Paige: Yeah, I’m having a bad day is all nothing you need to worry about Emma.
Emma: Ok, but the bell gonna ring in a minute.

Paige walks out of the restroom and Hazel comes up to her with Ashley, Ellie and Terri.

Ashley: Paige Hazel told us about you being pregnant with Dean Baby. How can you even thinking about keep the baby of the guy that rape you?
Terri: I would have an abortion if I was you Paige.
Ellie: Me to
Paige: The two of you aren’t me and it’s my choice. I can't have an abortion, and I can't give up a baby I carry for nine months. So I'm keeping it. Can you all just stay off my back about my choice I need friends that will support me, not give me a hard time on keep the baby.
Terri: Sure, Paige.

Hazels turn away from them and head to class.

The four of them head to home room and sit three rows away from Hazel, who keeps give Paige an evil look, whole time they were in home room.

That someday at lunch Paige walks up to Emma and take a set next to her.

Emma: Paige what do you want, you never sit next to Sean, Manny or me?
Paige: Emma, your Mom had you at the end of her eight-grade year right?
Emma: Yeah, when she was 15 years old, But whys are you ask me about this Paige?
Paige: Emma, Do you think you mom would talk with me about what it like to be pregnant as a 15 and what it like to be a teenage mom.
Emma: Why do you want to know about that Paige you might be 15, but you do not even have a boyfriend?
Paige: Because I am pregnant and I want to talk to someone that becomes a mom as a teenage.
Emma: Sure she will, come over after school.
Paige: Thank Emma’s can I walk with you, because I have never been to your house before?
Emma: Sure Paige.
Paige: Ok I will see you after school gets out for the day.

Paige walks back to the table Ellie, Terri and Ashley are sit at.

Terri: What did Emma say?
Paige: She said that her mom would talk to me and that I can come over after school gets out today.
Ashley: I tell you Emma mom would Mr. Nelson is really nice and would help any of the girls that go to Degrassi out if they got Pregnant and needs someone to talk to.

That Day after school is over at The Nelson Household. Paige is sitting on the couch in the living room and Emma’s in the Kitchen get Paige a bottle of water and herself a pop. Emma walks back into the living room and gives Paige the bottle of water.
Emma: My mom will be home in a few minutes.
Paige: Ok
Emma: The father of the baby is the guy that never calls you back after that party in October right?
Paige: Yeah, Dean the guy that rape me at party I went too in October. If I would have gone to the ER after it happened and report it. I would not have had to worry about be pregnant right now.

Just then the girls here the back door open and look up to see Mr.Simpson and Mrs. Nelson comes into the house.

Mr. Simpson: Paige why are you here and not at Spirit squad practice?
Paige: I need to talk to Mrs. Nelson about become a teenage mom, and what it like to be pregnant as a teenage and how it changes you live.
Mr. Simpson: Paige you are Pregnant?
Paige: Yes Mr.Simpson, But what are you Doing here?
Mr.Simpson: I’m starts to move my stuff over here because the wedding coming up soon and my apartment Lease is up soon.
Paige: That right you are getting Marry the first Saturday of our Winter break.
Emma: Which is next week!
Paige: Your luck it been a warm winter this year seeing that the wedding party is on the beach.
Mrs. Nelson: Yes we are luck, it been warm so far.

Mrs. Nelson and Mr. Simpson kiss eachother.

Mr. Simpson: Emma comes help me bring my stuff in so Paige and you mom can talk.

Mrs. Nelson: Ok Paige, when is your due date?
Paige: The three weeks of July.
Mrs. Nelson: Is the father going to part of the baby life at all?
Paige: No, he has not even talk to me since the night he made me have sex with him.
Mrs. Nelson: Are you sure you want to keep the baby?
Paige: Yeah I could not give the baby up after carrying it the whole nine months.
Mrs. Nelson: Ok, what the first thing you want to know about?
Paige: What it was like be in school and be pregnant?

Paige: Ok, the next thing I want to know is how hard was it when Emma was born.
Mrs. Nelson: My lives become a lot different then it was before, I did not get a good night sleep to Emma Start sleep through the night at six months, then at seven months she starts teeth and I did not get a full night sleep again to she was 12 months old. I had to get an after school job to help pay for baby stuff, and it felt like you never got to sit down for the first twelve years of the child’s life. But I would not take it back for anything. Paige the head back home and has dinner with her family. She then does her homework. Once she finishes her homework she takes a shower then goes to bed.

Chapter Three: I can’t Believe Hazels was ever my friend!
It has been seven weeks and one day since Paige Find out she was pregnant with Dean Baby. Paige has just started the fourteenth week of the pregnancy. She walks into school with her brother. Her brother walk Paige to her locker then, he had off to his own locker. Paige is put the textbook she does not need for the first four hours of school into her locker, when Marco walks up to her.

Marco: Hi Paige

Marco: You miss school yesterday, So Mr. Simpson asks me to tell you that he team us up for the advertisement assignment. By the way Paige why was you not a school yesterday?
Paige: I had a doctor appointment. What do we have to do for the assignment?
Marco: (Hands her the assignment sheet) we have to invent a new product and then come up with an advertisement for the product. Then we have to shoot the advertisement.
Paige: Don’t you normal work with Ellie on team Project?
Marco: Yeah, but Hazels tell Mr. Simpson she would not work with you, so he put Hazel and Ellie together and me and you together.
Paige: ( Starts crying) oh, I see Hazels no longer want to be my friend and will no longer even work with me on class projects.
Marco: Is Hazel still mad at you for having to take a year off from Sprit Squad, because of health reasons?
Paige: (Still crying) It more then, just health reason Macro, I’m pregnant and I am due in July.
Marco: That only two months Before Mrs. Nelson is due with her and Mr. Simpson baby.
Paige: I know.
Macro: How long have you known?
Paige: I find out the second week of November.
Marco: Who else have you told beside me?
Paige: Manny, Emma, Terri, Ashley, Ellie, Hazel, Sean, Mr. Simpson and Mrs. Nelson.
Marco: The Father is that Dean from Bardell, that you went to his party in October?
Paige: Yeah, he the father. I wish I would keep my date with Spinner and never went to that party.
Marco: Paige did you tell Dean no, when he asked you to have sex?

Macro pulls Paige over to him and give her a hug and lets her cry on his shoulder till the bell ring and they had to go to media Immersion. The two of them head to class and take the only to seat left which was next to Jay Hogart and Alex Nunez.

Jay: Look, Lexi; I think Paige has been crying again, because her eyes are all blood shot.
Alex: Yeah, it does. Is it me, Jay or does it look, like Paige has gained some wight?
Jay: It does, she stops cheerleading and is getting fat!
Paige: Shout up, you two have no right to talk about me that way.
Mr. Simpson: Class started work on you on your advertisement assignment.

Spinner’s look over his computer at Paige and give her, his I am sorry for the way Jay and Alex talk to you look. With one of his half smile half sad faces. Spinner’s look gets Paige to smile a little. Paige was work with Marco on their class project when she gets an Instant message from Spinner.

GMason: Paige how are you doing? Just to let you know Ashley told me about you been pregnant. If you need someone to talk too, I’m here for you.
PMichalchuk: Thanks Spinner, that means a lot coming from you. I need to go shopping at the mall after school to buy some new clothing, because all my clothing is getting too small for me. Do you want to come with me, I could use a friend to talk too as I shop?
GMason: Sure Paige I will come shopping with you after school. How far along are you and when are you due?
PMichalchuk: I just start my fourteen weeks and I am due in July.

Just then Paige realizes that Alex is read what she and Spinner are write to eachother over her shoulder. Paige turns her seat around and looks at Alex.

Paige: Alex, please do not say anything, I’m not ready for the whole school to know yet.

Paige put her right hand over her mouth and her left hand in the air. Mr. Simpson waves at Paige to let her know she can leave class to go to the restroom. Paige stands up and runs out of the classroom and to the girl’s restroom to hallways away from the M.I. lab.

Chapter Four: Paige you are brave then I am!
Meanwhile, back in the M.I. lab Alex rise her hand. Mr. Simpson looks up from his computer and sees Alex hand in the air, but he just goes back to what he working on and pays no attention to Alex rises her hand, since he knows that she probably just wants to go bug Paige some more. But Alex gets mad when Mr. Simpson does not see what she want so she stands up and walks over to his desk. Mr. Simpson looks up from his computer screen at Alex.

Mr. Simpson: Alex, what do you want?
Alex: I need to use the restroom.
Mr. Simpson: You can go
Alex: Thanks Mr. Simpson

Alex walks out of the M.I. lab and heads to the rest room, she needs to talk to Paige, so she can tell Paige that she is so sorry for acting the way she just did. It was not right and she knows it. She knows what it like to be in Paige shoes, but she had an abortion, because she could not bring herself to have the baby, who father is her moms’ boyfriend Chad. Who raped her one night a year ago today when her mom was at work. Alex walks into the restroom and hears Paige getting sick to her stomach in the first stall. She put her hand up and knocks on the stall door.

Alex: Paige, I know that it you in the stall. I just want to tell you I’m sorry about treating you the way I just do in Media Immersion class. It was wrong of me, you are a lot strong then I am.
Paige: (Open the stall door.) What do you mean I am a lot strong then you are Alex?

Alex: You want to rent a movie and watch it together?
Paige: Yeah, my place or your place?
Alex: You place, I don’t want Jay to know about us yet and he always stops my place to hang with Chad.
Paige: Ok, we did it at my place how about tonight and we will pick the movie up after school gets out.
Alex: Sure normal Jay gives me a ride home, but I tell him I’m stays after school to get help with my English homework.
Paige: We should get back to class.
Alex: You leave first I will fellow in a few seconds.
Paige: Ok

Paige heads out of the restroom and starts walking back to class, she is thinking I wonder if Alex loves me. I love her and want to date her, but does Alex feel the someway about me. Alex stays in the restroom for a few more minutes thinking to herself did I just ask Paige if she want to rent a movie and watch it with me and she said yes. I think I’m fall in love with Paige Michalchuk. I wonder if she feels that way about me. After a minute Alex heads out of the restroom and goes back to class. Alex and Paige does not look at eachother doing any of the class they have together the rest of the day because neither one of them wanted Jay to know they have talk to eachother and are going to be watches a movie together tonight.

Chapter Five: Dylan first to find out Paige date a girl!
Later that evening Dylan walks downstairs to the basement and founds his sister curl up in Alex Nunez arms and both girls are kiss eachother. Dylan stands on the steps stare at his sister kiss a girl. He never thought he would see his sister kiss a girl. Paige and Alex look up after a minute and see Dylan stare at them.

Paige: Dylan, you acting like you never seen two girls kiss before?
Alex: You do know it rude to stare right?
Dylan: Sorry about staring, It just never thought I see my sister make out with a girl, and I never thought I see her make out with you of all people Alex Nunez since you and Jay always make fun of me for being Gay.
Alex: It just an act with Jay, I really do not love him. It just he knows what I have been through with my mom drunk, abusive boyfriend and I have always been able to crush at his mom house if I need a place to stay. I have always had a crush on Paige though. I think I love you Paige?

Dylan: I hate to break up the fun, but mom and dad say it time for Alex to go home for the night.
Paige: But it only nine p.m. your friends always get to stay over late then nine, why can’t Alex?
Dylan: Mom and Dad just want you to get enough rest so that you and the baby stay health Paige.
Alex: Its ok Paige, I should be going home anyway otherwise Chad will beat me up for being late .
Paige: Ok, I see you at school tomorrow.

The next morning Alex is standing at Paige, locker and is waiting for her. As paige walks up to her locker she sees that Alex is still wear her sunglasses and that there are new bruises on both her arms and shoulder.

Paige: Lexi is everything all right?
Alex: Yeah, more then all right. I went and break up, with Jay last night after leave your place.
Paige: That great, so do you want to be out in the open about our relationship or keep it a secret?

With that both girls walk to first hour hold eachother hands and not care what anyone thinks about them.

Chapter Six: I’m having a girl!
It’s the beginning the twentieth week of Paige pregnancy and she is setting in the wait room of her obgyn Dr. Penbrook. Alex, her mother, Farther and brother have came with Paige to her doctor’s appointment, because Paige is having her first ultrasounds. Paige along with her family and Alex want to find out the sex of the baby. Alex is holding Paige hand as they wait for the nurse to call Paige back. Paige Looks over at her mom and dad who are set across from her and Alex.

Mrs. Michalchuk: Paige, do you feel up to going clothing shopping after your appointment, because your clothing is all getting way too tight?
Paige: Yeah, I am always up to going clothing shopping mom!
Mrs. Michalchuk: Alex’s do you want to come shopping with Paige, Dylan, Mr. Michalchuk and I. Then go out to dinner with us?
Alex: I would love to Mrs. Michalchuk.
Nurse Dew: Paige Michalchuk, you can come back now.

All five of them stand up and walks to the door the nurse is stand out. The nurse step back from the door and she let all five of them through the door. Nurse Dew leads Paige, Alex, Dylan, Mr. and Mrs. Michalchuk down the hall to the last examining room and they all walks into the room. The nurse point to the scale and Paige walks over and steps onto the scale. The nurse checks Paige file to see what she weighted last appointment.

Nurse Dew: On you first visit you weighted 47 Kg ( 104 lb). And on your last visit it says that you weighted 53 kg (118 lb), and the doctor note you need to gain more wight. Let see what you weight today.
Paige: I can tell you all my clothing are starting to get to tight.
Nurse: Today you weight 61 kg (135 lb).
Paige: No wonder my clothing is all getting way too tight.
Nurse: Dr. Penbrook will be happy with you Paige you gain the wight like she asks you two, you still need to gain five more kg (pounds) before your due date though. You can have a set on the examining table now and Dr. Penbrook will be back to do the ultrasounds in a few minutes.

The nurse set Paige file down on the counter then walks out of the room, at the sometime Paige takes a set on the examining table. Alex walks up next to her girlfriend and takes her hand again. Paige can tell something is bother Alex.

Paige: Lexi is everything ok?
Alex: Yeah, I just get lost in my own thought is all.
Paige: Are you sure about that?
Alex: Yeah I am.

Just then Paige obgyn walks into the room and picks up Paige file and smiles when she see that she has gain the weight she ask her to gain at her last check up.

Dr. Penbrook: Ok, I see your whole family come with you this time and that your friend Alex come with you to. Before I start the ultrasound do you want to know the sex of the baby Paige?
Paige: Yes, I want to know.
Dr. Penbrook: Paige I need you to pull your shirt up for me and lay back.

Paige lays and then pulls her shirt up and the doctor puts some gel on her stomach then put the ultrasound wand onto her stomach and start moving the wand around. Paige family, Alex and Paige are watching the screen of the ultrasound. After a minute Dr. Penbrook points to the screen.

Dr. Penbrook: See Paige there is your baby.
Paige: Are you able to tell what sex it is?
Dr. Penbrook: Yes you are having a baby girl Paige.
Paige: I am having a daughter, is the baby health?
Dr. Penbrook: As far as I can tell the baby is health Paige.
Paige: I have been take part in gym class still should I start set out off gym now or can I still take part in gym class?
Dr. Penbrook: I am write you a doctor note right now to get you out off gym class for the rest of the school year and I want you to slow down and start take it easy.
Paige: Ok
Dr. Penbrook: Also I think it time you buy some maternity clothing to wear.
Paige: I am going clothing shopping after we are finish here.
Dr. Penbrook: I am done for tonight I will see you sometime next month.
Paige: Ok.

The doctor then wipes the extra gel off of Paige stomach. Then Paige pulls her shirt down. The Paige set up and gets off the examining table. They all walk out to Mrs. Michalchuk, van and get in. Then Mrs. Michalchuk drives them all to the mall.

Chapter Seven: Shop trip!
Paige, Mrs. Michalchuk and Alex head to the female clothing store and Dylan and Mr. Michalchuk head to the sports store After they all agree to meet at the food court at 7:30pm to meet up for dinner. The girls are walks to the first store and Paige and her mom are talk about what area of the store to look in first. Alex walks next to Paige with her hands in her jean pockets.

Paige: I am not ready to go to the Maternity sections yet how about we try the Junior plus sizes first?
Mrs. Michalchuk: All right Paige.

Paige and Mrs. Michalchuk, makes a bee line for Junior plus size and Alex walks slow after the tow of them. She also felt uncomfortable go to the store in the mall, because she can’t afford to buy any of the clothing there. She walks up next to Paige and takes her right hand. Paige see that Alex is uncomfortable in the store. Paige gives her girlfriend a side hug, which make Alex Smile. Mrs. Michalchuk looks over at Alex and sees that she is wear clothing that look like it has seen better days. She also notices that the coat she is wear is a wear out man one. She knows that Alex mom is on warfare and Alex is already work at the movie theater.

Mrs. Michalchuk: Alex’s when was the last time you actually want to a store and bought an outfit that wasn’t second hand?
Alex: Never, I shop at second -hand stores and thrift stores.
Mrs. Michalchuk: Alex If you want to buy some new clothing or coat you can, I will pay for them.
Paige: Mom!
Alex: No, It sweet Paige and I will take you up and that offer a buy some new clothing and a coat, because I really need some.
Mrs. Michalchuk: Ok, If you want to you can go look around in the junior section.
Alex: Ok

Alex goes over to the rank a few rows over and starts look through the outfits. At the sometime Paige is looking thought the outfits in sections she in. At 7:15 Mrs. Michalchuk, Paige and Alex walk out of the last store. Between paige and her mom that have twenty bags full of new clothing and Alex is also carrying ten bags of new clothing. She did pay for two bags of the clothing. The reason for this is one of the stores they went into was having a close -out sale. Lots of the shirts were on sale from five dollars and low . The store also had Jeans on sale for ten to fifteen dollars. Dylan and Mr. Michalchuk months drop when they see how many bags that Paige, Alex and Mrs. Michalchuk is carrying in their hands.

Mr. Michalchuk: Are all these bags Paige?
Alex: No, the bags I am carrying are mine!
Dylan: So sis what do you want for dinner tonight?
Paige: Mexico
Mr. Michalchuk: Ok

The five of them head to the Mexico restaurant, the hostage show them to a table and the girls set the bag down on the floor under them. Then they order their food.

Chapter Eight: Six month and start to show!
Paige walks into school the Monday after finding out she is having a baby girl and she feels like everyone is staring at her, beside for Ellie, Ashley and Terri who are walking into the school with her. The four girls walk to their lockers, which are next to eachother. The girls turn the dial on their lock. After the girls unlock their locks, they open up their lockers and get out their textbooks and notebook for the first couple classes of the day. Paige is zipping her book bag up when she feels her daughter kick for the first time. She puts her hands onto her stomach and the baby kicks again. She looks up to see Jay stare at her and also stand in front of her. Alex walks up next to Paige and takes her right hand.

Jay: Look it’s the two love birds. It’s so sweet, not its sickening. By the way Paige you are huge, I know you pregnant and all. But that does not mean that you need to eat all the time and become fat Like Terri. You will never be able to fit into your spirited squad uniform again.
Alex: To start with Jay, Terri is a normal size girl and she is health and she is also beautiful.
Terri: Yeah, and Paige looks beautiful too and once she has the baby she will lose most of the weight that she gained right away.
Jay: Yeah right, she never loss the baby weight and Fat girls are not beautiful there are ugly.
Terri: That your opinion, but lots of guys find women my size beautiful!
Jay: Whatever Terri. Lexi I will never get what you see or like in Paige. She a rude girl that made fun of us and anyone else that lived on the wrong side of the tracks. Plus she a cheerleader and part of the in crowed. People from the in crowed do not hang at with lonely like you.
Alex: She was only rude to us, because we were rude to her. Paige is a very friendly and outgoing. She is a good listener and is there for her friends when they need someone to talk to even if its 2:30 in the morning. She also understands and does not care that I can’t afford to take her any place fancy.

With that Paige, Ashley, Terri, Ellie and Alex walk away from Jay and head to their home room which is in the M. I. Lab, with Mr. Simpson. The five girls get to the lab and take a set in front of the first five computers by the door. Jay walks into the classroom right as the bell for class to start rings. He shoots Ellie, Paige, Terri, Ashley and Alex and an evil look. He then walks over to the empty desk that is on the other side of the room and takes a set. Paige raise her left hand in the air as Mr. Simpson walks into the M.I. Lab.

Mr. Simpson: Yes Paige?
Paige: Can I go to the restroom?
Mr. Simpson: Yes Paige, but make it fast, you have lots of homework you need to catch up on from miss Wednesday, Thursday and Friday last week.
Paige: Ok.

Paige slower stands up and walks towards the door with both hands on her stomach. That way if her daughter kicks again she would feel the kick. She gets to the restroom and goes to the bathroom for the fifth time that morning. When she has finish going to the bathroom, she walks over to the sink and wash her hands. As Paige comes out of the restroom, Manny is walking toward the restroom.

Paige: How are you doing Manny, because you look flush?
Manny: Ok, Beside being tired and having really bad stomach cramps for the three days in a row now.
Paige: That not good. Maybe you should go see the school nurse and go home sick!
Manny: I am going to go see the nurse after I use the restroom.
Paige: I hope you feel better soon.
Manny: Thanks, how are you and your unborn daughter doing?
Paige: Good thanks, I need to get back to class now.
Manny: Ok, I really need to go to the restroom anyway.

Paige, steps away for the restroom door and Manny runs into the restroom and into the first stall. Meanwhile, Paige is walking back to the M.I. lab. When she gets into the classroom, she takes a set next to her girlfriend. Alex looks at Paige and sees that she is holding her stomach.

Alex: Paige is everything ok, because you take awhile using the restroom and you holding your stomach?
Paige: ( Takes Alex left hand and sets it on her stomach.) I feel fine Lexi, my daughter just kick is all. As I was coming out of the restroom door, Manny was walking towards the restroom. So I stop and ask her how she was doing and she asks me how my unborn daughter and I were doing.
Alex: That feels so weird, how is Manny doing?
Paige: She is not feeling too, good. She has really bad stomach cramps for three days now and she is looking flush.
Mr. Simpson: Alex and Paige stop talk and start working on your homework, because both of you have to play catch seeing that the two of you both miss school Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Alex and Paige: Ok, Mr. Simpson.

Alex and Paige both take the novel they are reading in English class out of they book bags and start read the chapter they miss read doing the classes their misses the three days that they were out with the stomach bug that is going around the school.

Chapter Nine: Paige worried about Alex!
It’s now a half hour and five minutes into home room. Paige is uncomfortable, so she shifts to a different position in her seat till she is comfortable. Before she starts to read the novel again, she looks over at her girlfriend Alex. Paige notices that since class has started a half hour and eight minutes ago Alex has started to look pale again and has also starts to hold her lower abdominal again. She thinks back to when Dylan picks Alex up this morning to take Alex and her to school. She remembers that when she knocked on her moms’ apartment door to let Alex know her ride was there. Alex let her into the apartment and told Paige that she would be ready to leave for school after use the bathroom and as she set on the couch wait for Alex to finish using the bathroom, she could hear her girlfriend crying. Also no soon then Dylan has pulled his Mustang and put the car into park Alex open up the car door and close really fast. When she asks Alex’s what the rush was, Alex said that she had to use the bathroom again and was holding her abdominal in the area by both her bladder and kidney. Paige has just start to read the novel again, when she gets the feel she needs to use the restroom again she raises her hand and Mr. Simpson look up from his desk at her.

Mr. Simpson: What do you need Paige?
Paige: I have to use the restroom again, Can I take a restroom break Mr. Simpson?
Mr. Simpson: Yes you may, Paige.

Paige stands up and slower walks out of the classroom and down the hallway to the girls restroom. Meanwhile, back in the M.I. lab Alex has lay her head down on the desk and is trying not to cry in front of the whole class. But both her bladder and kidney are causing her a lot of pain. The pain is so bad that its making her nausea and she feel feverish again too. Plus she has to you’re the bathroom again. She raises her hand in the air and Mr. Simpson looks up from his desk again and sees that this time its Alex’s is raises her hand.

Mr. Simpson: What do you need Alex?
Alex: I need to use the restroom, can I go to the restroom Mr. Simpson?
Mr. Simpson: Sure, but do not take forever.
Alex: I won’t

Alex stands up then runs out of the classroom and down the hallway to the girl’s restroom. She runs into the first stall on the left-hand side. As Alex walks out of the bathroom stall, she sees Paige lean up against the restroom wall and that Paige is looking at her with a worried look. Paige walks over to her girlfriend and gives her a hug. Alex hugs Paige back and lays her head down on her right shoulder and starts to cry. Paige lets Alex cry and rub her girlfriends back to comfort her. As she is rubbing her girlfriend back, she can feel the heat come off her back. She also notices that Alex is shaken which, means she probably has the chills.

Paige: Lexi, baby what is wrong sweetie?
Alex: I think I have a kidney and Bladder infections, because I have all the symptoms. I Frequent have to use the bathroom and when I use the bathroom I have a burning sensation. Have pain in my kidney and bladder, fever. My urine is also cloudy and foul-smelling. And I am really nausea, if I would have eat breakfast this morning I would have been in the rest throw up all of first hour. I also have the chills, night sweats and I’m really tired of all the time.
Paige: Sweetie, you need to go see and doctor and find out for sure. You also need to drink a lot of water. Let go and get our book bags and then I will go to the doctor with you.
Alex: I can’t go and see the doctor, they will find out what Chad is doing to me!
Paige: Lexi, What is Chad doing to you?
Alex: Chad’s abuse me Paige!
Paige: In what way Lexi?
Alex: Sexual and physical
Paige: You can’t leave like that Lexi. You and your mom need to move out and finds some place else to live or kick Chad out.
Alex: I try to get my mom to break up with Chad, but she won’t, she says she loves him too much to break up with him.
Paige: Lexi, you need to see a doctor.
Alex: Fine, lets go get it over with then.

Paige and Alex head back to the M.I. lab and pick up they book bags and their English novel then walk back out of the room with the rest of the class, because the bell to head to second hour has just ring. But instead of head to English they leave Degrassi and head to the health center, by bus. When the bus pulls up in front of the health center Paige wakes Alex up and the two of them walk into the health center and up to the admitted desk. Alex walk picks up a pen and sing the list for patience who needs to see a doctor, but do not have an appointment. She also writes down her symptoms on the line next to her name. She hopes that the doctors are not behinds since there is twenty- patience before her on the list she sign and forty on the list with appointment. Paige leads Alex over to the wait area and to two seats by the window. The two girl’s set down and Alex rest her head on Paige shoulder and closes her eyes.

Chapter Ten: Surprise baby shower part one
It has now been several hours since Paige went to the doctor with Alex. The two girls are now over at Michalchuk household and are setting on the couch in the basement watching the Harry Potter and the sorcerer’s stone. After the first movie ends they are going to put in Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets and then the two of them are going to watch Harry Potter and the prisoner of azkaban. Alex has wrapped herself up in a blanket and she is resting her head on Paige right shoulder as they are watching the movie together. Mrs. Michalchuk and Dylan come walking downstairs and into the basement. Dylan is carrying two glasses of caffeine free ice tea, one for Paige and one for Alex. Mrs. Michalchuk is carrying a big bowl of Popcorn with melt chocolate on the popcorn for Paige in her left hand and in her right hand she is carrying Chicken noodle soups for Alex. Dylan sets a glass in front of Alex on the coffee table and one in front of Paige on the coffee table, he then heads back upstairs. Mrs. Michalchuk head Alex’s her soup first and then she gives Paige her popcorn. Mrs. Michalchuk is just started walking back over to the staircase when Mr. Michalchuk walks down the staircases carrying a white paper bag from Rick’s drug store. Paige’s pause the movie when she sees her dad walking over to them.

Mr. Michalchuk: Here your prescriptions that Paige call and ask me to pick up for you.
Alex: Thanks Mr. Michalchuk just set the bag on the coffee table, I take them after I eat my soup.
Mr. Michalchuk: Ok, Alex and Paige how are you and my unborn granddaughter doing this afternoon?
Paige: Good, she keeps kick though.
Alex: Can we get back to watch the movie Paigey?
Paige: Sure Lexi

Mr. and Mrs. Michalchuk heads back upstairs and Paige unpause the movie. Alex start eating the soup that Mrs. Michalchuk was nice enough to make for her and Paige start to eat the popcorn. When the first Harry Potter gets over Alex gets up and pulls Paige up from the couch. Paige looks at Alex and then sets back down and push the button to play disk two which is the second Harry Potter movie.

Alex: Paige let had upstairs and let get more to drink.
Paige: NO, let starts watch the second Harry Potter movie.
Alex: We will, but let taken a break and go upstairs for a little while.
Paige: Ok, I want to get some strawberry ice cream.

Alex and Paige hold eachother hands as they walk up the staircase. When they get to the door at the top of the stairs, Alex open the door up Paige sees a sign over the fireplace that says it a girl and on the table under the window is a table cover with gifts and the rest of the room decorate in pink bottles. Then Mr. and Mrs. Michalchuk, Dylan, Ellie, Terri, Spinner, Ashley, Manny, Emma, Jimmy, Craig, Macro, Sean, Hazel, Jay, Joey and Angie Jeremiah, Mr. Simpson and Mrs. Nelson all jumps out of the doors lead into the kitchen yell surprise. Eight- year- old Angie comes run over to Paige and takes her right hand and lead her over to the couch that has been push in front of the fireplace, so it face towards the entrance hallway, Staircase lead to the second floor, Paige’s dad office and the stairway they leads to the basement. Paige set down on the couch and Angie set down next to Paige on her left and Alex set down next to Paige right.
Paige: Alex did you know about this the whole time and kept the baby shower a secret form me?
Alex: Yeah your mom, dad and Brother would not let me tell you about the baby shower.
Paige: Thanks I love being surprise like this, I did not think I was going to be having a baby shower.

Just then Paige notice Hazel is here and she is slower walking over to Paige with her hands in her jean pockets. Paige looks at the girl who used to be her best friend, but does not let the fact Hazel at her baby shower make her upsets.

Hazel: I know that I have been rude to you the last five months and have not been a support friend in help you deal with what you have been going through. I know now that I should have been more understand and not let you choice to keep the baby, ended our friendship. Will you be friends with me again?
Paige: Sure Hazel, but what made you change your mind about this?
Hazel: I do not want to talk about that in front of everyone, can we talk about it later by ourselves?
Paige: Sure Hazel.

With that everyone heads into the kitchen to get something to eat. When Paige walks into the kitchen she sees that her mom has went all out and made all her favorite foods. Paige picks up a plate and puts a couple spoons fulls of nacho dip and chips onto her plate. She then puts some Italian sub pasta salad along with a few chicken wigs, Pizza bits and strawberry cover in chocolate onto her plate.

Chapter Eleven: Surprise baby shower part two!
An hour later Paige is open the gifts up and the guests are watching her open the gift up. Alex is writing down who the gift has come from. Craig is taking pictures of Paige opening the gifts up and his sister Angie pass Paige the gifts. Paige is unwrapping the first gift, which is from Jay and his mom. She takes the top off the box and set the box top down in front of her. She pulls the tissue paper out of the box and set in the trash bag. She then holds up a pair of pink overall and pick t-shirt with a teddy bear on the front. She holds up the other item in the box, which is a pink dress with purple roses on it. Paige then open up the next gift, which is from Hazel and her mom. She takes the tissue paper out of the large gift bag and then takes a pink diaper bag out and shows it to everyone. The next gift she opens up is from Alex and her mom. Paige unwraps the large box and sees that they have got her a baby stroller. She then sees that the outsides of the baby strollers’ is pink and the insides of the stroller is black. Paige leans toward Alex and the girls hug eachother.

Paige: Tell your mom thanks, I love it.
Alex: Yeah, my mom that you would.

Paige Angie hands Paige the next gift and she opens it up after Paige sees that the card says it from her parents and Brother, She passes the card around that way everyone know who the gift comes from. Paige unwraps the gift box which is in some medium size box and sees that her parents and brother Dylan have gave her and her unborn daughter a pink infant carseat. Angie then heads Paige’s another boxes this one is a thin long box.

Paige: This one is from Emma, Mr. Simpson and Miss. Nelson.

Paige unwraps the thin long box and sees that Simpson/Nelson have got her and the baby a crib. Jay moves the crib box out of the way and Angie hand Paige they next gift, which is wrapped in lavender and has pink foot print on it. Paige takes the card off and sees it from Sean and his brother Tracker, She hands the card to Hazel. She then takes the wrap paper off and sees three outfits. She holds up the first outfit and pair of tiny Jeans with the word cute write on the back and a pink tank top, that says world cutes baby. Paige holds up the lavender oneise that has a teddy bear on the front of the oneise. She then hold the matches lavender new born hat, up for everyone to see. She then holds up the three outfit, which is a pair of lavender pant and match t-shirts. Angie then hands her the gift from her, Joey and Craig. Paige opens the white gift bag that has babies foot prints on it. She takes the first item out of the bag and sees it is a pacifier thermometer, she holds it up for everyone to sees. She then takes out the next item which is a pink Handheld Color Video Monitor with 2.5" Screen. Paige then open up the gift from Macro and his mom. The first part of the gift she holds up is a pink pacifier, she then hold up the six bibs that are pink, purple, red, light blue, lavender and white with pink, purple and red flowers. The next gift she open up is from Spinner, Terri , Ellie and they moms. She unwraps the box and sees they pool their money and bought her and the baby a The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Tub in the color pink. She then opens up the gift from Ashley and her mom. Paige sees they bought her and the baby Pink crib sheets, pink receiving blankets, pink crib skirt. She heads them up for everyone to see. She takes the next gift from Angie and it is from Manny and her mom. She slower unwraps the cute, my little pony wrapping paper off. She then takes the top of the box that the gift is in, But stops when she sees her grandma Schmidt, Grandma Michalchuk, cousin Sara and Shannon Schmidt and cousin Tina and Stacy Michalchuk.. The six of them set their gifts on the table and go into the kitchen and get some food. Once they come back into the living room Paige smile at her grandmas and cousin.

Paige: Every the six ladies that just joined us are grandma Schmidt, Grandma Michalchuk, cousin Sara and Shannon Schmidt and cousin Tina and Stacy Michalchuk.

As she induction then they stand up, so everyone knows who is who. Paige then goes back to open up Manny’s gift. She lift out a boxes from the inside of the big box the gift is in and see Manny and her mom has get her the bottle warm she want. She then holds the bottle warmer box, up for everyone to see, the set it on the coffee table in front of her. Paige then takes the second item out of the box, which is Playtex VentAire Newborn Gift Set and the Playtex Ventaire Natural-Shape Bottles 3-pk.- 6-oz. She holds the gift set up for everyone to see. Paige then lifts the last item out of the box for everyone to see and it is a set of lavender burping cloths. Angie then heads Paige the gift from Jimmy and his mom, she care unwraps the gift, which is wrapped in lavender paper with a lace print overlay on the top of the paper. When she get all the wrapping paper off the box she sees Jimmy and his mom get her and the baby a Portable Bassinet with Toy Box Base the wood part is paint white and the fabric part including the pad is pink. Angie then pushes a box over to Paige. She takes the tissues paper the box is wrapped in off and she sees a white changing table. The next gift she open is from her cousin Sara, Shannon and they mom, who could not make it to the showers. She takes the large pink gift box for box off the box and sees a white rocking chair that came with pink cushions for the back and seat. Angie then hands her the gift from her grandma Schmidt. Paige on wrap the soft gift and see that her grandma made a baby blanket and has cross-stitch all of, the my little ponies onto the blanket. Paige unfolds the blanket and shows it to everyone. She then opens the gift up from her Grandma Michalchuk, cousin Tina, Stacy and their mom who could not make it to the shower. She holds up the outfits that they get her and then hold up the baby soap, shampoo and bath-towels and washes clothes.

Alex: Dylan is now cutting the cake, so you can all go get a piece now.

An hour later after everyone has left, Beside Hazel. Paige and Hazel heads upstairs to Paige bedroom and Hazel closes the door behind her. The two girls set down on Paige bed and the girls look at eachother. Paige then puts Hazels right hand on her stomach and Hazels feel the baby girl kick.

Hazel: That neat Paige!
Paige: I love the pink diaper bag and changing pad and baby wipes that come with it.
Hazel: Yeah, my mom and I thought you would like it. My mom was going to come today, but my little sister has the flu. So she had to stay home and take care of her.
Paige: That ok, tell Hannah to feel better soon.
Hazel: I will
Paige: So what did you want to tell me alone?
Hazel: I went to a party with my cousin two months ago. When I had to uses the bathroom, I left my drink outsides the bathroom door on the table. When I come of the bathroom and take a sip of it I thought it taste different but continue to drink it. After about a half hour everything because a blur and the next morning I wake up in a bedroom I never be in before and they was a used condom lay on the floor.
Paige: Hazel, I am so sorry. Do you have any idea who could have drug you?
Hazel: Dean was at the party, I do remember hearing him outside the bathroom, when I was use it.
Paige: Do you go to the hospital and get check out?

Just then Hazel cellphone goes off and she looks at the caller ID and sees it the lawyer that handle her rape case. Hazel hit the speck button and then hit the talk button.

Miss. Dewright: Hi, The police final called me and let me know that the other set of fingerprints they find on the cup belongs to Dean Walton, The police and I are looking into get a warrant for his DNA to compare to the semen left behind in the condom and the fetus DNA.

Chapter Twelve: Dean reappears in Paige and Hazels Life
Paige walks into school with Alex, Spinner, Terri, Ashley and Hazel on the Tuesday morning after her baby showers. Dean: Hi Sprit and Sprit friend Hazel, Ashley, Terri, Spinner and who is the girl that holding your hand Sprit?

Paige: Dean, I do not want to talk to you!
Dean: You have gain a lot of weight Sprit how are you going to fix into you sprit squad uniform?

Hazel: I forget that Degrassi boy basketball was playing Bardell High School the school that Dean goes to.

Hazel: Why could the police go fast with running the DNA evidence and find out if it was Dean that drug and raped me?

Paige starts to walk back into the stall but dean grips her and back her up against the restroom sinks.

Paige: Dean you don’t supports to be in here this is the girl’s restroom!
Dean: Spirt you know that I only do what I want to!
Paige: Yeah I know first hand that all you do is want you want too, you don’t even stop when someone says no!

Back at the gym Alex notice it has been six minutes since she till Paige and Hazel she will see them in the gym, she then notice Dean not in the gym. Alex stands up and runs out of the gym and to the girls restroom Spinner goes running after her along with JT in the mascot outfit. Both JT and Spinner stops at the door to the girls restroom and Alex runs into the restroom. Dean stop back from Paige when Alex walks into the restroom and runs out. Dean runs pass Degrassi Mascot and Spinner and goes back to the gym. When Hazel hears Dean leave she walks out of the stall she is in and over to Paige and Alex. Spinner opens the stall door and looks at the three girls.

Spinner: Paige, Hazel and Alex he did not hurt anyone of you?
Hazel: No
Paige: He back me up against the sink but Alex walk in before her could do anything to me.
JT: Is that your baby father Paige?
Paige: Yeah that Dean the guy that rape me and get me pregnant.

With that JT runs back to the gym throw his mascot head off as he run toward Dean. Alex, Spinner, Hazel and Paige run after JT. When JT reaches Dean he pushes him and Dean pouch him back and they start fighting eachother.

JT: Paige say no, you should have stop and not force her to have sex.

JT pouch Dean again and Dean pouch him back and the two basketball coach run over to them and break the fight up. At the sometime two police officer walk onto the gym and over to Dean and the blonde hair male officer arrest Dean while the female officer read Dean his right.

Female Police officer: Dean Walton you are under arrest for rape Paige Michalchuk, Alex Nunez and Drugging and rape Hazel Aden.

The police officer lead Dean out of the gym and then out of degrassi. Paige, Hazel and Alex look at eachother then they give eachother a big hug. The girl take a set on the bench and watch the boys basketball game, which Degrassi win.
