My vision of Degrassi the Next Generation: Season one
A few thing you need to know before I start. In my Vision Emma has a Half sister name Bethany. Emma’s Biology father got another girl name Stephanie Sage pregnant in November of 1987 and Bethany was born on Aug.28. 1988, Stephanie also has another daughter name Elizabeth who born the same year and day as Emma in June 1989, with the guy she started date after break up with Shane. His name is Jose Cortez . Shane McKay was not a part of either of his daughter lives. Emma and Bethany hang out with eachother. Till Bethany Step-father Jose Cortez got a new job in Wasaga beach right before the start of Bethnay fifth grade school year, and Emma and Elizabeth’s four grade school year. As a result she move with her mom, sister Elizabeth, Step-father to Wasaga Beach. Since then Emma and Bethany have only talk with eachother online, and on the phone. Also Craig, Marco, Ellie, Jay, Alex, Mia and Darcy is in my vision of season one.
Part one: Mother & Child Reunion
Upstairs in Emma Nelson bedroom Manny and Emma are setting in front of the computer, Because Emma’s is checking her Email and she is showing Manny’s the Reunion site for her Mom Jr high class.
Manny: Emma’s your mom look so different with her hair spike.
Emma: That way her school friends called her Spike.
Manny: (Point to screen) That the girl on the cover of this nature Magazine Emma.
Emma: That Caitlin Ryan, She went to school with my mom.
Spike: (Yell upstairs) Emma, Manny come on, we need to go so I can get you to Degrassi to give Mr. Simpson the stuff I find for the reunion, Remember JT is met the two of you there. After I drop the two of you off at Degrassi I have to go pick Emma half Sister up from the Bus stations and bring her back here so she can get her bag unpacked and get her basement bedroom set up.
Manny: Your sister is coming to live here.
Emma: Yeah, she not get along with her step-father and she has a chance to training at the National gymnastics center that is five blocks from Degrassi.
Manny: I know she get expelled for the privet school she was going to for hit her teacher, who made her stand all day and read out loud in France, because she keep falling to sleep. So she has to redo her seventh grade year. Does, this mean Bethany is going to come to Degrassi, with us?
Emma: Yeah.

Spike, walk into Emma bedroom and looks at the two girls. Both girls get up and start walk out of Emma room with Spike. But Emma Stop when she hears you get mail. But start walk right away. Once at Degrassi Spike hands Manny, Emma and JT the boxes of items she find from when she was in Jr. High during the eighty.

Spike: Thanks for help me you three, and Emma’s please get home as soon as you can.
Emma: Yes mom.

Spike, get back into her car and drives off and the three of them head into the School and find Mr.Simpson right away and he takes the boxes from them and see them on their way. JT see his friend from camp Toby. Toby say bye to his dad and joins JT, Manny and Emma.

JT: Emma, Manny this is Toby we meet at camp this summer and become best friends.
Manny: Are you come to School here Toby?
Toby: Yeah, my dad and I move into his girlfriend house and this is the close school.
JT: Lets all go to the park and hang out.
Emma: I have to go home, so I am there when my sister gets to the house so I can’t.
Manny: I will go with you Em.
Emma: No, go with JT, my sister has been through a lot over the last year Manny and you know that, she just want too spent sometime with me alone.
Manny: JT, Toby can you give me and Emma a minute by our self?
Boys: Sure we will meet you outside Manny.

Once the boys are gone.

Manny: What do you mean she been through a lot?
Emma: You know Bethany and her step- father are have issues and one of them is that he has been sexual abuse her and he get her pageant and she had an abortion five months ago.
Manny: I did not know that.
Emma: She only told me and my mom and her mom.
Manny: That way she showed up at are school that day five months ago crying and ask you to skip the last two hours of school and go to see your mom at work .
Emma: Yeah, but Manny’s you cannot tell anyone what I just tell you and don’t ask Bethany about it, if she want to talk about it with you she will bring it up.

Part two: Mother and Child Reunion part two
Emma setting on the bed in Bethany’s basement bedroom and watches her unpacking her things. She is telling her sister about the boy she has been email talk to online name Jordan.

Emma: I think I love him Bethany.
Bethany: Emma’s you have only been talk to him online for six months, and you have never even seen him.
Emma: I see photos of him that he has Email me, also I am meeting him tomorrow night. He is coming to town with a group of students on a school supported filed trip. So I am going to the hotel they are stay at and meeting him.
Bethany: Tomorrow night is your mom Jr. high reunion, Does she know about this.
Emma: No, she thinks Manny, You and I are going to be watching movie over here. You not going to tell her on me are you?
Bethany: No, But be careful Em.
Emma: I will be Sis
Bethany: I am just worry is all Em, He could be lie to you about who he is, Email him and have him meet you here, so at lest you not meet him by yourself.
Emma: Ok

Emma runs back upstairs to her bedroom and Email Jordan. She gives him her address and told him to be there at 6pm. A few minutes later she gets an Email back from him tell her that he will see her tomorrow night at her place. The next day Manny comes over to Emma place to hang out.

Manny: Where Bethany at Emma?
Emma: She at gymnastics practice to 5pm Manny.
Manny: what are you doing tonight Emma?
Emma: Just hang with my sister.
Manny: Can I stay and hang out with the two of you?
Emma: Not tonight Manny, but you can stay to Bethany get here and say hi to her.
Manny: Cool.

At 5:15pm Bethany walks into the house and sees Manny hanging out with Emma. Manny stands up and walks over to Bethany.

Manny: I have to go now, but I just want to say hi.
Bethany: Nice to see you again Manny. Emma Has Spike been home yet?
Emma: Yeah, but she left again for the reunion.
Bethany: I am going downstairs to my bedroom and taking a shower Em.
Emma: Ok, Bethany.

Emma’s see Manny out, then run upstairs to her bedroom and get ready to met Jordan. When 6pm come there is a knock on the front door. Emma goes to the door to see a guy stand there.
Jordan: Hi are you Emma?
Emma: (Crack the door) who are you?
Jordan: It me Jordan
Emma: You are too old to be Jordan!
Jordan: (Push door all the way open) I could not tell you my real age or sent you a actual photo of me you will not have agree to meet me.
Emma: (Try to close the door so he can’t get in) Go away
Jordan: No

He gets into the house and push Emma onto the Couch. Bethany hears what goes on from her bedroom and calls 911,Then call Spike cellphone and tells her what is happen. Bethany runs upstairs and into the Kitchen right as the Police get there and arrest Jordan. Spike and Snake get to the House just after the Police. Spike, run over to her daughter.

Spike: Emma’s thank God you are ok, but what was you thinking meeting a guy you meet online, But at lest you had him come here so you were not alone in his hotel room like you was original going to do.
Emma: I am sorry, he said he was a year old then me.
Police Office: She was Luck Bethany’s heard what was going on from her bedroom and call us we need to take your computer.

Just then a police office come downstairs carries the computer hand driver and walk out the door.

Spike: When will we get it back?
Police office: When we are finish with it. For now on keep the computer out of you daughter bedroom.
Emma: I do not want to be alone tonight.
Bethany: Emma’s you can sleep in my bedroom with me tonight Em.
Emma: Thanks.

Part three: Wannabe
It’s the first day of school of the 2001-2002 school year and for the six and Seventh grade it they first day going to Degrassi Community school. Spinner, Jimmy, Paige, Hazel, Ashley, Ellie, Marco and Terri are sitting outside the school at the picnic table talking to eachother.

Jimmy: So Hazel and Paige the two of you are trying out for Spirit Squad?
Paige: Yeah, of cause I am trying out for Spirit Squad, I am the one that got the school to start one up this year remember.
Hazel: Yeah, I am going to try out.
Spinner: Look at all the young seventh grades.
Paige: I can’t believe how small the six grade look.
Spinner: Way did they have to add six grade to Degrassi anyway.
Terri: Because one of the elementary school close down because it did not meet build code and also one burn down. So they had to add six grades to Degrassi because there was not enough space in the elementary school for them and we had the space.

Manny, Emma and Bethany walk up to Degrassi for the first time and a girl that is young then Emma and Manny came running over to the three of them.

Bethany: Emma and Manny this is Mia we both training at the National gymnastic training center.
Mia: Hi, are any of you tryout for the spirit squad?
Bethany: Yeah of cause I am!
Manny: Yeah
Emma: I am not, I don’t want to be a cheerlead, I feel cheerleading is stupid.

That afternoon after seven hour all the girls that are tryout for the spirit squad are warm up in the gym. When Mrs. Hatzilakos walk into the gym.

Mrs. H: I am your staff adviser for the Spirit Squad and will be the one chosen who make the squad, the list will be post outside the gym tomorrow morning.

When it Bethany turn she knows if she want to make the squad that she has to hit all her movies because Manny, Mia, Paige and Hazel and almost all the other girls did great. She nail the cheer she does plus the cartwheel, Back handspring and Standing arabbian double front.

Mrs. H: You all did a great job. Which make my choice really hard.

Paige and Hazel walk over to Mia and Bethany.

Paige: Bethany’s you did great. When did you movie back to town?
Bethany: The other day, I am staying with my half-sister and her mom.
Hazel: Who is the girl stand next to you?
Bethany: This is Mia, we both training at the national gymnastic center together.
Mia: Bethany, we have to go now or we will be late for training.

Paige, Hazel, Mia and Bethany walk out of Degrassi together.

Paige: See you tomorrow.

The next morning Mia comes run over to Hazel, Paige, Manny and Bethany as they come into the school.

Mia: Hi y’all, All four of you made the spirit squad.
Bethany: Did you make it Mia?
Mia: Of cause I did.

Part Four: Family Politics
It’s 6:30 a.m. and Ashley is put the finish touch on her poster that says chosen Ashley Kerwin for school president as she waits for Toby to finish up in the bathroom. She stands up then walks down the hallway and knocks on the bathroom door.

Ashley: Toby’s hurry up in there, you are not the only one that needs to get ready for school.
Toby: Ashley, there is lots of time still, so stop rush, me to get done in the bathroom.
Ashley: But I need to get to school early so, I can hang my poster.
Toby: I will get done when I get done Ashley.

Ashley stamps back into her bedroom and takes a set on her bed and wait for Toby to come out of the bathroom. A few miles away at the Nelson household. Emma is setting in the kitchen eating breakfast and notices that Bethany has not come home from training yet to change and grab her school stuff. Emma stands up and walks towards the front door and notices that Bethany gym bag is where she left it last night when she got home. Spike, walk up behind, Emma and taps her on the shoulder.

Spike: Em, what are you doing?
Emma: Mom, did Bethany forget her gym bag, or did she not go to practice today?
Spike: I am not sure Em, I have not seen her this morning.
Emma: I am going to go see if she is downstairs in her bedroom.
Spike: Ok, I will be upstairs in the bathroom getting ready for work.
Emma: Ok, Mom.

Emma walks back into the kitchen then goes over to the basement door and knock. When Bethany does not give an answer. Emma open the door and start walking down the staircase. She gets to the three to last steps she sees Bethany laying in bed and she has her desk trash can by her bed and its full of tissues and she also notices that Bethany has her bathroom trash can by her bed to. She then notices that Bethany has put a bag into the bathroom trash can. Emma walks over to her sister bed and set down on the edge. As she sets down on the bed, she hears that Bethany is making a wheeze sound and also see the reason Bethany put a bag into the bathroom trash can. is because Bethany has been using it to throw up in. Emma puts her left hand on her sisters’ forehead to see if she is running a fever. Bethany opens her eyes when she feels Emma hand on her forehead and she pulls her sister hand off her forehead.

Emma: Bethany, did you skip gymnastic practice?
Bethany: Yes, I am too sick to training today.
Emma: That not like you Bethany, you competing in the 1998 Canadian gymnastics championship with a fever of 40.5 degrees Celsius (104.9 degrees Fahrenheit) and you had not been able to keep food down for four days.
Bethany: Emma, I have been throwing up all night and I can’t keep any my oral asthma medications down. So I call my coach and told him I have a really bad case of the flu.
Emma: You are not running a fever!
Bethany: So I feel awful Em, So please leave mine bedroom and let me go back to sleep.
Emma: No you need to get up and get dress for school or we will both be late.
Bethany: I can’t make it to school today Emma!
Spike: Bethany, Emma got a move on you have two minutes before you have to leave for school.
Bethany: Coughs, I am sick Spike.

Emma bounce her sister bed to see if that would get Bethany to get up. Bethany give her younger sister an evil look and puts her hand over her month, hope that the feeling she is going to be sick to her stomach will pass. The girls hear Spike come down the stairs. Bethany removes her hand from her mouth and set up in bed but start holding her stomach with both hands.

Bethany: Emma, Stop bounce my bed, I am really Nausea!
Emma: You don’t have to bite my head of. You are so PMS sis!
Bethany: No, I am not Em!

Spike, walks over to Bethany bed and notices the two trashes can next to the bed. She takes a look in both of them and sees that Bethany has been blowing her nose a lot and that she has also been throwing up. Spike, then feels Bethany forehead and can tell right away that she does not have a fever.

Bethany: Can I stay home Spike?
Spike: No, you do not have a fever and it only the second full week of school so got out of bed and get dress. Emma’s you go on head to school I will give Bethany a ride into school, so she gets to school on time.
Bethany: But I could, coughs, not even go to practices that how sick I am Spike!
Spike: That is your choice to miss gymnastics practices, but as your temporary legal guardian, I have to make sure you go to school and keep your grade up and I promise your mom that I will only let you miss school if you had a fever.
Bethany: Fine get out of my bedroom so I can changes for school.

As soon as Spike, has closed Bethany’s bedroom door Bethany gets up and walks over to her dresser. She throws on a pair of old jeans and goes to zip them up but they won’t zip up all the way. She pulls them back off then grabs a pair of workout pants but she can get them on. Great way are all my pants getting so tight. She puts on a pair of clean PJ bottoms and a loss fitting black t-shirt. She then goes into the bathroom and brushes her teeth and pulls her hair up into a ponytail. Meanwhile, at Degrassi Ashley is hanging her poster up. When Paige, Hazel and Terri walk up to her.

Paige: So you are running for school president again this year?
Ashley: Yeah, I am
Terri: You do know JT from the seventh grade is also running for school president?
Ashley: Yeah, but no seventh grade will beat be.

Jay Hogart, Alex Nunez and Ellie Nash come walking down the hallway and stop next to Ashley. Three of them look at Ashley’s posters and then Jay tears it down.

Ashley: What did you do that for?
Jay: Because, I can and I felt like it.
Hazel: You had no right to tear her poster down.
Alex: I do not think he asks for your opinion Hazel, by the way I see you at the mall with you mom this weekend. You really need to tell her, that the Scarf she was wear over her hair did not match the purple long sleeve shirt and dresses pant she was wear.
Terri: What she talking about Hazel?
Hazel: I have no, clue at all. I was not even at the mall this weekend.

Jay, Alex and Ellie walk away from Ashley and her friends and head to the main doors of the school and go outside. The three of them take a set on the picnic table . As they were setting down Spike pulls up in front of the school and Bethany gets out of her car. Bethany open the back door and grabs her book bag off the set.

Bethany: Thanks for the ride Spike and for swing by the drug store so I could pick the items I need to buy.
Spike: No problem, just do not skip any classes.
Bethany: (She rolls her eyes at Spike.) Whatever!

Bethany slams the back door closed and walks over to the picnic table Alex, Jay and Ellie are set at. She takes a set next to Alex. At that moment a very young six grade girl who name is Mia came running over to the picnic table they are set on and stop in front of Bethany.

Bethany: What do you want?
Mia: Coach is really mad at you for skip practices this morning, he wants to see you in his office after school gets out.
Bethany: Coughs, Go away
Mia: No, Way did you skip practices?
Bethany: Because I was up all night throwing up, now go away.
Mia: No, I need to tell you about a meet that is come up, that the coach told me to let you know about, that coach has signs you up for Bethany.
Bethany: (Wheezes) I do not care and tell coach that I am going to have to set out of that meet.
Mia: You tell him yourself.
Bethany: Fine
Alex: I would take off now, before Jay’s stand up and he carries you away from us.

With that Mia runs away from Jay, Alex, Ellie and Bethany and into the school. Jay, Alex and Ellie take a close look at Bethany and see that she looks horrible and the three of them hear the wheezes sound that coming from Bethany’s lungs at the sometime Bethany is getting into the bag she is holding from the drug store and take a newly fill prescribes asthma inhaler out and use it.

Alex: Bethany, you sound awful and do not look good. Maybe you should go home and go back to bed.
Bethany: I can’t I am not running a fever.
Jay: But if you been throwing up all night you must be sick?
Bethany: Yeah with morning sickness, I am six weeks pregnant. I take a home pregnancy test yesterday and it was positive.
Ellie: Does the baby father know yet?
Bethany: No, and I am not sure that I am going to tell him. I am going to go home and go back to bed. I do not care what Spike say I am not up to be in school today.

Bethany stands up and walks back to the Nelson household. Once she gets inside, she calls her gymnastics coach and leaves him a message says she will not be able to training for seven month and two weeks because she is pregnant. She then goes back downstairs and goes to bed.

Part Five: Eye of the Beholder

Terri setting outsides on the school steps staring at the poster for the first evening fall dance that Degrassi has had, so far doing her time at the school. When Spinner walks up to her and takes a set next to her. He then takes her hand in his left hand to get her attention. Terri looks at Spinner and smile at him.

Spinner: Terri, do you want to go to the dance with me tonight?
Terri: Sure, I will go to the dance with you Spinner.
Spinner: Did you bring the History note I call and ask you about last night?
Terri: Yeah, Here you go, Spinner.
Spinner: (Take the notes from her.) Thanks Terri, see you in class I am going to go copy the notes so I can get them back to you before class.
Terri: Take you time.

As Spinner stands up Paige, Hazel, Ashley walks up to where Terri is and the three of smiles really big at her because they over hear Spinner asks her to the dance and Terri telling Spinner yes. Bethany’s comes walking up to the four girls setting on the steps off the school. Follow closes by Manny and Emma. Terri looks up at Bethany and knows that something is bothering her.

Terri: Hi, Bethany’s I saw Alex, Jay and Ellie along with Sean Cameron a few minutes ago and they are looking for you. Alex said to tell you If I saw you before them. To meet the four of them at Jay’s locker.
Bethany: Thanks
Paige: Sean back
Terri: Yeah, he is back, Tracker( his brother) and Sean moved back into town a few days ago.
Bethany: Great, I am so not in the mood to see Sean.
Emma: Sean, as in the boy you were dating in Wasaga Beach, the cute blond hair boy you show me a picture of?
Bethany: Yeah
Manny: Bethany, you are starts to look flush are you feeling ok?
Bethany: No, as I tell you when you come over this morning I can’t shake this stomach bug I come down with last week.
Paige: Maybe you should go and see a doctor Bethany!
Bethany: I have, the doctor told me there was nothing he could do to help, gag, me.

With that Bethany puts her hand over her mouth and runs into the school. Then into the girl’s restroom. She runs into the first stall and start throwing up the oatmeal that Spike made her eat for breakfast. After a few minutes she hears a group of girls enter the bathroom and then someone starts knocking on her stall door. She can tell be the voices that Alex, Ellie, Emma, Manny, Terri, Ashley, Hazel and Mia are in the restroom. She does not answers the girl knocking on the stall door because she can’t stop throwing up.

Mia: Bethany, are you ok?
Bethany: Retch
Mia: Do you need me to get the school nurse?
Bethany: No, I am fine now.
Bethany stands up and flushes the toilet. She then open up the stall and walks over to the sink and turn the cold water on. She then Splash some water onto her face. As Bethany’s is splash the water onto her face she can feel everyone eyes stare at her. Beside Ellie and Alex, because they already know she is pregnant. Bethany’s finishes splashes the water onto her face, then turn around and looks at everyone.

Bethany: What?
Emma: Sis, Tell me what wrong, You stop going to gymnastics practices and are spent a lot of time by yourself. Plus you never got you monthly this month.
Bethany: I am seven weeks pregnant, with Sean Cameron baby.

With that Sean come run into the girls restroom and looks at Bethany. Ellie, Alex, Mia, Manny, Hazel, Ashley, Terri and Paige and Emma leaves the Bathroom. Bethany grabs Sean head and leads him out of the bathroom and back outside. The two of them take a set on the steps of the school.

Sean: You are pregnant?
Bethany: Yeah, Sean
Sean: Bethany’s you are a hundred presents sure that I am the baby father?
Bethany: Yes, you are the only one I made love to, Sean. Unless you are count my stepfathers who raped me when he felt like it?
Sean: That does not count. I believe you. What are you going to do?
Bethany: I going to have the baby, Sean.
Sean: But you always said you did not want to end up like your mom or Emma mom!
Bethany: I can’t have another abortion Sean, It was too hard on me when I had the one because my stepfather got me pregnant. I only had that one because I could not handle having a child that could have his face. I understand if you do not want to have anything to do with rises a baby. We are only in the seven grade and you are only going to be fourteen in February 2002 . Also, I am only going to be fourteen in August of 2002.
Sean: You are not in this alone, it’s my child to and I will help you with the baby.
Bethany: Thanks, We should get to class.
Sean: Do you have Mr. Simpson first hour for home room?
Bethany: Yeah
Sean: Then we should get going or he will start yelling at us for being late for his class.

Meanwhile in Mrs. Kawn English Class Paige is helping Terri decide on what to wear to the dance and her date with Spinner, that night.

Terri: You do not think the blue skirt makes me look fat?
Paige: No, not with the white tunic blouse that has the blue rose along the neck.
Ashley: She right you will look great tonight wear that and Spinner will love you in that outfit.
Terri: Ok, I will wear that outfit tonight.

After school gets out for the day, Sean and Bethany are setting on the couch at Sean and Tracker place. Tracker, is set across from them with a look of shock on his face. He can ‘t believe what his little brother and Bethany’s just tell him. He puts his face in his hands and closes his eyes.

Sean: Tracker, speak to us!
Tracker: You just tell me I am going to be an uncle what do you want me to say?
Sean: That you will not make me go live with mom and dad?
Tracker: Sean you know I will not make you go back and live with mom and dad. Bethany’s what do you want to do, it’s you that has to carry the baby?
Bethany: I am going to have the baby and rises it.
Sean: And I am going to help her with the baby.
Tracker: You do not plan on having her move in with us do you?
Bethany: No, I already told Mrs. Nelson about being pregnant and she still let me stay at her house.
Sean: I going to help with the baby need by getting diaper, baby food, etc and also help watch the baby once it’s born.
Tracker: Ok, I will help out too.
Bethany: Thanks Tracker.
Tracker: When is your due date?
Bethany: April 5, 2002.
Sean: If we are going to the dance, we should get going?
Bethany: I not up to going to the dance, but you can go.
Sean: Are you sure?
Bethany: Yeah, the two of us broke up and chose to be just friends.
Sean: But you are having my child.
Bethany: I am but we are better off just friends, having a child does not change that. Beside mine sister Emma, has a crush on you.
Sean: Oh
Bethany: Go to the dance and get to know her.
Sean: Ok, I will.
Bethany: I have to work anyway.
Tracker: Where are you work at?
Bethany: Teaching gymnastic to four, five and six year old.

With that Sean head to the dance and Bethany goes to work. When he gets to the school dance he see Spinner dance with Terri. He also sees Paige dance with Macro and Jimmy dance with Hazel. He walks over to Emma and taps her on the shoulder.

Sean: Emma, do you want to dance?
Emma: Sure, Sean.

Emma and Sean dance with eachother for the whole dance . At the end of the dance he walks Emma home and kisses her good bye on her check.

Part Six: Parents' Day
Most of the degrassi students are busy getting the school ready for parents day, which starts in a hour and a half. The spirited squads in the gym going over the cheer to welcome the parents to the school. Emma, Terri, Hazel, Ashley, Paige and Ashley are busy help the rest of the volunteers put up sings to let the parents know where to go. Toby and JT are set on the front steps of the school. JT is worry about what they teacher are going to tell they parents. Toby is set on the step hope that his mom could not get off of work, so she does not come. That would make him relaxes and he would not have to worry about his mom and dad fighting in front of his teacher and friends. Jay, Alex, Sean, Amy and Bethany are set on the top of the picnic table outside of the school. Alex, Amy and Bethany are looking through a catalog of babies clothing, toys and furniture. Jay looks over at Alex and then back over at Sean and rolls his eyes.

Jay: Lexi, sweetie don’t get any idea we are so not going to have a baby!
Alex: I know that Jay’s I do not want to have a baby anytime soon, beside I am on the pill.
Jay: Good, But Bethany isn’t a little to early for you to start looking at baby stuff in only the begin of October and you are only just begin the tenth week of the pregnancy?
Bethany: It never to early to start looking at baby stuff, I am not buy it right now. Just piece everything. That way I know how much money I did to set aside and save for what I will have to buy.
Amy: Sean, I though Emma asks you to help set up for Parents day?
Sean: She did, but I tell her that I did not feel like help to set up for parents day. Seeing that neither of my parents will be coming.
Bethany: That and he tell Emma’s he had to finish his homework and she let him out of help.
Sean: Bethany did you eat breakfast this morning?
Bethany: Yeah, I eat breakfast this morning!
Sean: Have you been able to keep it down?
Bethany: So far yeah, I just hope I can make through the dissection the frog in science class second hour.
Jay: It wrong that Mrs. Hatzilakos, is making you dissection frogs on parents days!
Sean: Yeah, like dissection frog is not bad enough, now we have to dissection in front of our classmate parents that we do not even know.
Bethany: I hope that I do not throw up in front of Mrs. Santos or the rest of the parents, that would be humiliation.
Alex: Is Tacker coming today Sean?
Sean: He is going to try and make for part of the day, if his boss when give him sometime of work to come.

The bell to go to first hour rings and Sean, Amy, Jay, Alex, Bethany, Toby and JT all stand up. Then the seven of them head into the school. Sean, Bethany, Toby and JT head to M.I. lab. Amy, Jay and Alex head to Mrs. Kawn English class. When Bethany, Sean, Toby and JT get into class they see that JT mom and grandmother have come to parents day, The JT points out to Toby were is dad and mom are set and Toby slower walks over to them. Sean and Bethany then see that Mrs. Nelson and Tacker have come to parents day. Tracker, Emma and Mrs. Nelson’s are set next to eachother talking. They wave Bethany and Sean over to them. Sean and Bethany walk over to were Mrs. Nelson, Tracker and Emma setting and take a set by the three of them. By the time the bell rings for class to start Mr and Mrs. Isaacs are already fighting with eachother. Also, Sean, Emma, Tracker and Mrs. Nelson has looks over at Bethany and notices she is starting to look flush and have a hard time breathing.

Emma: Sis are you alright?
Bethany: ( Mr. Simpson walks up next to her.) No, too many of the mom and dad are wearing perfume and Cologne and the smell is making me nausea and it also bother my asthma.
Mr. Simpson: Do you need to go home, Bethany?
Bethany: Yeah, because I do not have my asthma inhaler with me.
Mrs. Nelson: I will let the office know you went home sick.
Bethany: Thanks.

Bethany stands up from the set she is set in and picks up her book bag. She then slower walks out of the M.I. lab holding her stomach and gasp for air. The tightness in her chest becomes less once she is outside in the fresh air. Back at Degrassi Toby’s has turned bright red, because his parents are standing up in front of the whole class fight about him skipping his English class last week and also turn in the first major homework assignment in English a week late.

Part Seven: The Matching Game
Paige, Terri, Ellie, Jay, Alex, Sean, Ashley and Jimmy walk over to Bethany who is at her locker. Bethany looks at her eight friends as they walk up next to her. Bethany closes her lock door and leans up against her locker. Sean walks over next to Bethany and looks at her growing stomach. Bethany smiles at Sean and he smiles back.

Sean: I just want to see how you are doing this morning and how the little one doing?
Bethany: I doing fine and so is the baby.
Sean: Good I have to go meet Emma and give her math notes back before class. I see you at Dr. Sally talk during first-hour and be there to help you tell our story about what can happen with the condom does not work.
Terri: I think it’s so cool that Mr. Raditch are allow Sean and Bethany to miss home room and come to Dr. Sally today.
Bethany and Sean: Whatever.
Paige: Ashley, Terri lets go and find Hazel. I need to find out why she was not at spirited squad practice this morning.
Ashley and Terri: Ok


Sean walks around form his friends and he walks down the hallway towards M.I. lab. Paige Terri and Ashley head in the opposite way as Sean to see if Hazel is at her locker. Jay’s who has his arms wrap around Alex waists. Jay looks at Bethany and sees that she has a worry look on her face. Ellie is closing her locker door when Bethany grabs her and Alex hands and sets them on her stomach. Both girls smile when they feel movement.

Jay: Ok, what are the three of you smiling at.
Bethany: I felt the baby move for the first time, so I put their hands on my stomach.
Jay: Oh
Ellie: We should all get to class if will want to save Sean a seat next to Bethany in the back row.
Alex: Yeah you right Ellie.
Jimmy: Whatever I have to save Ashley a seat.

The five of them head to Mr. Armstrong class as they are walking to they class Craig walks up next to Ellie and takes her hand. Ellie leans over and kisses Craig on his left cheek. The six of them walk into Mr. Armstrong classroom and head to the back row of seat. Ashley, Terri, Hazel, Paige and Sean walk into the class a minute later. Paige, Terri and Hazel take the three seats there are free in the first row. Sean and Ashley walk to the back of the room. Sean sets down next to Bethany, Ashley takes the seat next to Jimmy. Mr. Armstrong and Dr. Sally walk into the classroom and since the bell for class to start is ringing Mr. Armstrong go to shut the door and Spinner comes running into the room right before the door close.

Mr. Armstrong: Spinner take a seat.
Spinner: Sure Mr. Armstrong.

Spinner, runs to the back of the room and takes a set next to Sean. Spinner sets his book bag onto the floor. As Dr. Sally set up her stuffs. Mr. Armstrong looks around the classroom and finds Sean and Bethany.

Mr. Armstrong: Sean and Bethany’s can the two of you come to the front of the room.
Sean and Bethany: Sure.

Sean and Bethany stand up and walk up to the front of the classroom. DR. Sally walks over to the two of them and three of them induction themselves to eachother. Mr. Armstrong walks up next to Sean, Bethany and Dr. Sally.

Mr. Armstrong: Class today Dr. Sally is going to speck to all of us about safe sex along with way to keep from getting pregnant. Plus Bethany and Sean are going to tell you what happens when a condom does not work and about the choice Bethany had to make sense she found she was pregnant.
Dr. Sally: First off I want to stress no sex is hundred percent safe. But if you are going to have sex you should use a condom. As you see Mr. Armstrong is push out Banana and Sean is hand condom out to everyone. Also Bethany is hand out a handout with the directions on how to put a condom on. Each of you are to practice put a condom onto the end of the banana, now that everyone has all three of the handout practice put the condom on as I talk to you.
Spinner: When will we know that we are ready to have sex, because I have friends who have been dating eachother for eight months now?
Dr. Sally: Physical you are ready now, but it all depend on if you are emotions and mantle ready to have sex. Can any of you tell me two main reasons you need to practice sex?

Dr. Sally: No, the one true way to not get pregnant is to not have sex. At this point Bethany and Sean are going to told the class their story.
Sean: I start, Bethany and I had been date for two years and we had both help eachother through some hard time. Bethany come over tow my parents house on the night that we had been together for two years on July. 5. 2001.
Jay: Where did Bethany come to your parents house Sean?
Sean: Because my mom and dad were not home.
Bethany: It was a normal night at Sean. We were set on the couch and watching a movie. The next thing the two of now we are make out and I pull a condom out of my purse and we had sex on the living room couch.
Alex: Did you know that your was pregnant when break up with Sean, before move you move here Bethany?
Bethany: No
Jay: Did the condom have a hole or did it slip off?
Sean: The condom did not slip off, so we figure the condom must of had a hole in it.
Paige: What was your reacting when you first find out your were pregnant Bethany?
Bethany: Scary and mad at myself, because I always said that I was not going to make the some mistake my mom did and become a teenage mom. My next fear was how was I going to tell Sean, because it not something you can tell your ex boyfriend on the phone or in a letter.
Sean: But I made it easy for here to tell me when I show up at Degrassi for school the day of the first night time dance.
Bethany: I do wish that he did not over hear me tell Ashley, Paige, Terri, Ellie, Alex, Emma and Mia that I was pregnant through the girls restroom door. I was planning on tell Sean face to face.
Heather: How did Sean take the news?
Sean: Ok, I was shock at first, but handle it ok.
Heather: But you are dating Emma Nelson know, are you going to help Bethany with the baby Sean?
Sean: Yeah, I am going to help pay for the baby and the baby stuff. Along with help take care of my son or daughter to.
Ellie: Bethany did you think about having an abortion or give the baby up for adaption?
Bethany: I did not want to have a abortion and I could not personal give a child I carry for nine months up.
Mr. Armstrong: The bell going to ring any second, so everyone gathers you book bags up and come get free samples form Dr. Sally then head to your next class.
Ashley: Jimmy’s I am not ready to have sex with you.
Jimmy: I am not ready either.

As Sean and Bethany walk to the back of the classroom to grab their book bags everyone in the class watches them, as they walk pass Sean and Bethany to get they free samples.

Part Eight: Basketball diaries
The school is buzzing with excitement about the basketball game that is taking place at noon that day between the boys try at for the school basketball team vs. The Degrassi High school freshman basketball team. J.T., Toby, Emma, Bethany, Ellie, Jay and Alex’s are in the gym setting in the stands watching both the spirit squad and the basketballs, teams warm up. Emma notices that her half-sister Bethany is watching Spinner closes. So she starts to watch him and notices that he is bounce all over the place and that Spinner is not able to set still. Emma then notices that Jimmy is acting more hyper then he normal does.


Emma: What with Spinner and Jimmy?
Bethany: Spinner is acting like he does when he does not take his ADHD medicine, but I am not sure of what up with Jimmy, I have never seen him that hyper before.

Just then the coach wave the teams over to the bench and the school spirit squads each go to a end of the court. Degrassi Community school spirit squad goes over to the end the stage is at and get up onto the stage. The high school spirit squad goes over to the other end and goes under the basket and up against the wall. Bethany and Emma are both Watch Sean who has the ball again and he is about to make a three point shoot when Jimmy come running toward Sean and pushes him backward as he is set up for the shoot. Sean stumbles backwards and comes down really hard and rolls his right ankle and it makes a loud creaking sound and he feels it pop out of place. At the sometime Sean fall to the ground rolling his ankle Bethany feels her baby kicking for the first time and puts her hands on her stomach, but at the sometime she is worry about Sean because he is now laying on the floor holding his right ankle and he crying out in pain. Mr. Armstrong runs out onto the court and over to Sean and kneels down next to him. At the sometime all the basketball players beside Jimmy have gathered around Sean to see what is wrong.

Mr. Armstrong: Sean what did you hurt?
Sean: My right ankle and it hurt really bad!
Mr. Armstrong: Can you move it and did you think you can put any wight on your ankle?
Sean: No I can’t put wight on it or move it, because it hurt too much!
Mr. Armstrong: Sean I need to take a look at your ankle now.
Sean: Ok

Mr. Armstrong careful and lift up Sean right ankle and start to look at it, Mr. Armstrong sees that Sean ankle is very swollen and the top of Sean shoe is cut into his ankle. Mr. Armstrong unties Sean right shoe and remove it very careful, so not to hurt Sean to bad. He then pick Sean up from the floor and he start walking toward the locker room.

Mr. Armstrong: Jimmy’s you are coming with me, you are out of the game.
Jimmy: But coach will lose if I am not playing!
Mr. Armstrong: You foul your own teammate Jimmy, you are out for the rest of the game and beside you not act like yourself and Spinner’s go take your ADHD medicine.
Spinner: I can’t I give my last pill to Jimmy, so he could stay awake and play in the game, because he stay up all night finish his English homework that was over due!
Bethany and Emma stand up from the stands and runs after Spinner, Jimmy and Mr. Armstrong (carry Sean) into the locker room. Mr. Armstrong set Sean down on the bench and then goes and get some Ice for his ankle. Bethany grabs a bunch of towels and folds then in half and set then on the bench across from Sean and Emma carefully set his right ankle on top of the towels. Mr. Armstrong walks back into the locker room and sets the ice on Sean Ankle and notice Bethany sitting on Sean right side and Emma on his left holding his hands. He also sees and hears Bethany talking on her cellphone to son brother Tracker. Bethany hit the end bottom on her cellphone flips it close and then she throws the cellphone into her purse. She then takes Sean right hand and set it onto her growing stomach and he smiles for the first time since hurt his ankle when he feels the baby kick for the first time.

Mr. Armstrong: I have to go back to the gym and coach the gym, Sean just keep the ice on your ankle and keep it on top of the towels. Bethany is his older brother Tracker coming to pick Sean up and take him to have -rays done?
Bethany: Yeah, he is on his way now.
Mr. Armstrong: Jimmy, Spinner with me.
Emma: I will go and keep an eye out for Tracker and bring to the locker room when he get here.
Sean: Thanks Em

Mr. Armstrong, Spinner, Emma and Jimmy walk out of the locker room. Jimmy takes a set with the rest of his team that not on the court playing and Spinner gets a glass of water and a towel for the payer that Mr. Armstrong has just taking out of the game. Emma walks out to the hallway and over to the main door of the school to watch for Tracker. Sean looks at Bethany and sees that she is staring at his very swell right ankle and know that something is bothering her, beside that Jimmy would push him down just so he could take the three point shot and not him.

Sean: Beth (short for Bethany) what wrong?
Bethany: ( Tracker and Emma walk into the locker room.) It just that you going to have to miss the ultrasound and sees the baby for the first time!
Sean: I can’t miss seeing the baby for the first time and find out what sex the baby is. Having the x-rays are going to have to be put off to after your obgyn appointment.
Tracker: Sean you will not miss the ultrasound, I am going to take you to the St. Mary which is the hospital that Bethany obgyn work out of and I also talk to Bethany obgyn and she says that she come down to the ER and do the ultrasound in Exam room number two while you are waiting to be taking back to have x-rays.

Tracker picks up his little brother and he carries him out to his car and Bethany walks out to the car with them. Once at Tracker car Bethany open up the passengers’ door for Tracker and then Tracker sets Sean into the front seat. Bethany open up the backseat door and get into the car, as Tracker’s get behind the wheel of his car. The ride to St. Mary takes ten minutes and by the time they get to the hospital Sean ankle is really thumbing, but he try to hide how much pain is in from Bethany, because he does not want to worry, because that would cause her stress and stress is not good for her health or the baby health. Tracker pulls his car into the parking lot and pull up to the doors of the ER and puts the car into park. Bethany and Tracker get out of the car and Bethany walks through the ER door. She get a wheelchair and pushes out to Tracker’s car. By the time she get back to the car Tracker has open up the passengers door and is help Sean out of the car. Sean helps on one leg over to the wheelchair and sets down. Bethany’s lift up the right footrests and Sean put his leg up and to the footrest . Bethany then pushes Sean into the ER as Tracker goes and parks his car. Bethany obgyn Dr. Pin and a nurse are wait for them by the admitted desk. The five of them wait for Tracker and once he has come over to them they go back to exam room number two. Bethany hops up onto the exam table and the doctor has Bethany lift her blue t-shirt up and them the doctor puts some gel onto Bethany stomach and beginning the ultrasound. Dr. Pin only moved the ultrasounds around a few times when she founds the baby and points to the screen. Bethany, Sean and Tracker smile at the set of the baby.

Bethany: What is the sex?
Dr. Pin: You are having a boy!

The nurse then take the handler of the wheelchair Sean is set in and pushes him out of the exam room and down the hallway to have x-rays done. An hour later the nurse pushes Sean back into the exam room and help Sean up onto the exam table and at the sometime another nurse and a ER doctor come into the room with supply for a cast.

Tracker: So what is wrong with my brother ankle?
Dr. Serving: He has broken his ankle and bruises the Achilles tendinitis. Sean what color cast do you want?
Sean: Black

The nurse and doctor get to work on put the cast on Sean ankle and two hours later on crutch Sean is hopping up the stairs of the apartment build he and Tracker live in.

Part Nine: Secrets and Lies
Ashley is sitting on her bed in her bedroom and Ashley dad is set next to her on the bed. They are looking through picture of his troop over sees cover the war in Iraq and his trip to England. Ashley looks up at her dad after seeing a picture of him kisses a blonde hair guy on the lips.

Ashley: Dad who the guy that you are kissing dad and why are you kisses him?
Mr. Kerwin: That is my boyfriend Chad.
Ashley: What?
Mr. Kerwin: I am guy Ash that why I left you mom, because I did not love her in the way I should have, I can only love man like that.
Ashley: Way did you never tell me before, I should not have find out from looking at a pictures Dad!
Mr. Kerwin: I know I should tell you.

Ashley’s tosses the photo album at her dad at stands up and walks over to her bedroom door. She then opens up her bedroom door and gives her dad a look that says get out. She then cross her arms over chest.

Mr. Kerwin: Ash calm down and take a set!
Ashley: No, I want you to leave my bedroom now. All you ever been a lie dad, you tell you left mom because you were fighting all the time, the two of you were not fighting you were cheating on her with a guy.
Mr. Kerwin: Fine, but do you still want to go to breakfast tomorrow morning?
Ashley: No, now leave!

Mr. Kerwin stands up and walks out of his daughters’ bedroom and Ashley slams the door shut behind him. She runs over to her bed and lays face down and starts to cry. She set up and grabs the picture frame off her nightstand that has her dad picture in it. She takes his pictures out of the frame and tears it up, she then throws the picture into the trash can.
