This pretty much my first Degrassi story with someone that isn't Jalex. I'm not very good at writing so... here it is:

Liberty closed her eyes tight, balling her fingers into a tight fist as another contration hit. She opened her mouth and let out a strained cry for a breif moment. Finally the moment of pain was over and she laid back down, trying to rest. She knew how long labor could last, but she prayed it wouldn't be as long as she had been told.

She placed her hands on her stomach and looked up at the ceiling, reminding herself that she couldn't keep her baby after all of this. All she had been through. Poor Toby. She had just pushed him away and all he did was take care of her and protect her. Protect her from JT.

Somehow, JT wanted into her mind and she rolled her head to her shoulder, weeping of sorrow. The sorrow of their break up, the love that was but will never be again. The sorrow of just wanting to hide their baby. The sorrow of all that they had put each other through the past nine months.

Another contraction started up and before she could make a tight fist, someone was holding her hand. She looked up, her tears ceasing. "JT," she gasped softly, letting the shock sink in.

"Its okay, Liberty," he soothed, brushing her frayed hair back with his free hand and kissed the side of her forehead. "I'm here now," he added in reassurance as the pain slowly calmed down.

She looked up at him with a slight smile. "Where have you been?" she asked, teasing him slightly.

He just chuckled a little and met his lips with hers for a soft peck. "You know I'm never far behind," he reminded, giving her hand a squeeze. She smiled sadly and a tear fell from her eye. He quickly wiped it away with his index finger. "Its okay. We'll get through this together," he said.

She nodded, bitting on her bottom lip to keep from crying. She took him by the collar and kissed him forcefully for the first time since before she conceived. He was a little surprised at first, but then easily sunk in, cupping her cheek in his hand.
