Another shot in the gut for the N.....

I am watching Our Lips are Sealed Pt.1 for the 3rd time today and you know the scene where Manny and Emma are in the cafeteria eating their rice cakes and Palex is there too? Well, did you notice the diet Pepsi can in the backround? It was blurred out so we couldn't see what brand it was (DUH) as well as the vending machinge in the back. We all know it's Dasani, right? Now I know this is not so much the N's doing. It's very general practice so as not to advertise now-a-days with all the competition, but come the freak on! It just adds to my resentment of the N. Season 5 dvd's better come out soon. I'm already in line for them.

OH and the dvd's BETTER have the webisodes as well as other stuff so our Canadian friends can view them. Disgusting how canadian viewers can get ripped off when it comes to their own shows! OK. I'm done venting

I've been noticing how the N censors a lot of the product placements on Degrassi. Sometimes it feels like an insult to my intellegence, I mean c'mon who doesn'r recognize the Pepsi logo?

LMFAO! i have that show on type and I wasn't looking that hard. I need to review that myself. and plus why all of a sudden now they are blocking big name products from the show??? they always been showing it so why stop now! but also mtv could have something to do with it, because i think mtv part owns "the-n" network for the teen hours. and if you watch any mtv show, they block all big name companies from the clothes brands to the soda companies.

I'm sure they're not getting ripped off, for one they can go to the-n just like the americans and watch the webisodes, plus you never know a canadian site like ctv could be playing them as well, although I don't know cause I never checked...so don't quote me on that.

its already known they can't watch the eps on the N. but i guess you are right in saying they can find it somewhere else (like on youtube). my point (concerning the N) is the bureaucracy of it all. It's a joke
