I don't think that it's really the government controling it. It's the FCC who is trying to dictate what we can and cannot watch on television. They are of the belief that "kids" are easily swayed by what they watch, and while they are correct in some ways, they are wrong in trying to censor what we can watch. If that was the case, a whole butt-load of things wouldn't be on stations.

I know in the Degrassi Old School another character besides SPIKE gets pregnant. It was one of the twins I think Erica or something. Anyway she had an abortion. That was in the 80's and they showed in on PBS. Now here we are in a new millenium, and the government has decided to take two steps back and Ban AWH. Go figure

Maybe in the 80's they were more open-minded It's too bad because I think parents can choose what they want to show to their kids or not

How the hell do they expect us to keep up if they ban episodes. But the N is a teen channel and I guess they have to respect that.
