I always thought he was really gay in real life.. on the degrassi unscripted he seemed pretty gay, but i don't know.

You can't really say because he's never said in the media if he was or not. He finds us amusing when we say "ADAMO IS GAY!!" or "Adamo is so straight! He's mine!" lol. Honestly, I think he's straight. He's just not so homophobic that he won't play his part. Yknow?

I wonder why everyone always ask if Adamo's gay, but no one else on the show. The other actors have just as good of a chance of being gay as he does. I also wonder why everyone always give so much credit to stright actors who play gay, but not to gay actors who plays stright. hmm

Adamo did actually say he wasn't gay when he first started playing Marco, but the more popular his character became, he stopped answering the question. Instead, he said if gay people want him to be gay, to them he's gay and if straight people want him to be straight, to them he's straight. But really, he's straight. He just doesn't want to mess with "Marco's popularity" by answering the question now.

agreed, it takes some talent to pull off that part, it might be easier if you really were gay, but if you aren't now thats acting.
