can someone just tell me what degrassi old school is about

It's like TNG, but set in the 80's. It covers all sorts of issues--child abuse, domestic abuse, drugs, suicide...and of course--dating, friends, etc. It's not as contemporary as TNG, but it really impacted 80's teens based on the things they were experiencing when it first aired.

Plus, Snake, Caitlin, Joey, Spike, and others are there--so much younger and so cute! You can see all the romances and baby Emma!

I wanted to know if it's worth starting from the very beggining?
I just found TNG, so I'm still a blank slate.

It would be worth it. Both shows offer different perspecitives on the subjects, but the outcomes are usually the same. You will also see Joey, Spike, and Snake from TNG in Degrassi Old Schoo.

We also can't forget Caitlin either! It was in the Old School series where she and Joey first became an item!

yeah its pretty much just about all the adults, joey, caitlin, spike, snake, and there are other characters in it as well like wheels, and more that aren't featured on DTNG. There's one more girl, and I know she's black but I don't know the name. lol.

there's lucy,a main charcter,but only guest starred in tng on the first one(reunion)and spike and snake's wedding pisode,and im not sure but im pretty sure that it was the twins erica and heather that i saw guest starring during spike's baby shower of the TNG episode Father Figure
