Question Was Craig's Dad in the old show?

I never watched the Old School ones, so i was wondering, was Craig's dad (you know, the abusive one who died) in that show?

I don't think so. I don't remember seeing Craig's dad on the Old School episodes. I don't he would be because Craig was the new guy in season 2, so wouldn't that make it so that they were 'new' to degrassi?

That is right. Supposedly Joey and Craig's mom were married or dated and that is how they know each other

Craigs Mom dumped Craigs Dad for Joey. That's why Craigs Dad hated the fact that he wanted to be closer to Joey.

Wink Was Craig's Dad in the old show

Yes. But it does not look like him at all. In the old one he has hair and he is darker.

They only took a handful of key memorable characters for the old show...the favs from the early years are the adults now, I have seen almost every episode and I cannot think of one person his dad could have been. I wish someone had a for sure answer though!

It's too bad nobody else has a connection to the old school other than Emma and Craig.

Actually, Craig has no connection to the old show. Having Joey as his stepdad is the only degree of separation between him and Old School Degrassi, and it would be a stretch to use that as the connection.

As I mentioned in another thread, the only characters in Degrassi: TNG that have a connection to Old School (putting aside the Degrassi Reunion special, the White Wedding two-parter, and the two parter featuring Emma's birth father) are Snake, Spike, Joey, Caitlin, Mr. Raditch, Emma ... and the one guest appearance by Wheels ... and one brief cameo appearance by Yick as nothing more than a background character in "When Doves Cry" ... and Dr. Sally!

You have to take into account that this show was made during the Late 80's and acting back then wasn't as intense as it is today. IMO, I loved the way the old shows were produced. More realistic IMO.
I don't post much but I do watch the forum! If you are having problems with anyone feel free to PM me!
