There has been a lot of controversy in Australia about "Wheels" in a 1987 episode wearing an Victorian Football League Footscray Aussie Rules jumper.

I am curious to know if anyone has any ideas as to why he was wearing something that would have been very out of place back then and whether anyone noticed how strange it was ?

Wheels, the season 1 version, had quite the thing for football jerseys it seems! In addition to that jersey, he was also seen wearing what looks to be a replica knockoff version of the Toronto Argonauts jersey (double blue coloured jersey with the #7 on it) ... only to be replaced with the button dress shirt and jeans that we all knew him for in the later seasons!

I've no idea why or how he got that jersey in particular!

it that serie they wore there own clothes... so who knows if any one on set notice what he was wearing!
