Lauren Collins to be in 'V' Monologues

The V Monologues returns to Toronto once again in support of V-Day. This year the show will feature Degrassi's own Lauren Collins.

V-Day is a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. It is a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations. The event generates broader attention for the fight to stop worldwide violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation and sexual slavery.

Date: Saturday, March 3rd
Venue: Workman Theatre
This is an all-ages performance
Tickets $19.50

Date: Sunday, March 4th
Venue: Phoenix Concert Theatre
Gala Performance open to age 19 +
Tickets: $36.50

You can read a good plot summary here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Vagina_Monologues. It deals with female issues such as rape, muitilation and so forth. It's been around for over a decade now and it's a pretty big thing for Lauren to be doing.
They are both in Toronto. I hope we get to see at least some pictures of her.....or maybe someone can get some footage.

yeah it was on HBO before, i saw bites and pieces of it when i was like 16, 17 at the time.

From the looks of it, she is supposed to appear in both. Just that the first is an edited version.
