Well, I did read somewhere that they are friends. I know they worked together pre-Degrassi. To what extent their friendship is, I don't know...We would get a better idea if we had PICTURES

Interesting thought.....I wonder if their relationship changed at all (better or worse) after the storyline....I'm sure season 6 will be juicier too...

The producers are real mean when it's about Palex... I mean, Palex broke up on a rush and they gave us no pictures, no spoilers, nothing!

I've never been into Degrassi like that before Season 5, and the producers just look like they want to starve me until September!!!

Just discovered the only bad thing about vacations ---> Degrassi students are also in vacations!

Hun, you and me both.....so well said. I grew up watching the old one and was a huge fan. Didn't get into TNG until this past season (because of Palex). Your right, absolutely nothing was done to sell the storyline and they began it and ended it on the what felt like the same day. There should have been pictures, there should have been interviews with Lauren and Deanna. A lot more could have been done marketing wise and WE the viewers would have been left with some more memories besides the 'get together' ep and the 'break-up' ep. It's a shame. A real shame. But the writers have a second chance now. Palex has a second chance. I hope the writers use both Lauren and Deanna to their fullest potential in season 6 so us fans can feel some respect!

And I fully hope the writers will take their 2nd chance! I mean, they can't waste both characters and it's the only storyline they got for them yet. And now, they know the fans totally love Palex, so why wouldn't they continue writing about it!!

And looking back at the pic, Deanna looks good, but her dress so... I don't know... Don't look like a dress with the pockets.
