I just read off the Degrassi-tngho site, it's great news

Season 6
Executive Producer Stephen Stohn updated us today on how the first day of Season 6's filming is going. In his posts he says they are finished filming the first few scenes of 601 (Here Comes Your Man Part 1) and says they have been shooting near lockers and in the classroom with Emma, Manny, and another "lead character." This statement combined with news of an old flame of Emma's returning this season has speculation running rampant that the other "Lead Character" mentioned is in fact a returning Sean. While this is not confirmed it does seem like a good possibility. We should know more for sure on or around June 5th once CTV releases the official cast of Season 6 in their press release.

The first part of his post is in response to a question from a fan asking if Stacey was on a birthright trip to Israel recently, because she heard from someone on the same trip that she was and that she had a script she had a Degrassi script with her she was learning for Season 6. Exec confirms this to be true, confirming the graduated Ellie will be in Season 6. Here is his post below:

"Yes it was Stacey--she just got back from Israel and we were chatting about her trip at the end of the read-through, sounded awesome!!

And we're now finished shooting the first few scenes of the new season--this morning we've been shooting in a classroom and then around the lockers, featuring Emma and Manny and, let's just say another lead character............."

I wish that they would give some news on Deanna and Lauren.

I hope I'm not one of those pathetic fans in denial, but I can't imagine the writers NOT bringing Palex back. Even for 1 ep. There's so much more to do with them and the writers have to know how they let us down with how they rushed things....I truly believe those few eps were done for a reason, for a larger purpose and I seriously doubt we have seen the last of Paige and Alex.

Totally agree! I'm keeping hope alive myself with Paige & Alex. That little hug at the end of H.F. didn't mean the end by a long shot. I agree with you those eps were done for purpose, because I've been watching Degrassi for too long not to see a previous couple get back together, whether it being in a positive or negative light.

a couple of weeks ago i seen a downloaded spoiler of sean coming back and seeing jay, they both had tattoos on their chest with the girls names they loved, jays said alex, when he went to look at seans he pushed him away and jay asked if he showed it to ellie, he said no, and jay leaves and sean moves his shirt over and it says emma. jay thought it said ellie

That was a Degrassi Mini, they aren't suppose to be part of the real show storylines

i know the lovecats and hello, ladies had a little something to do with the storylines in this season. the others were just for fun i think. i wonder could a ellie/jay connection work. i probably wouldn't mind watching that if it was well written.

June 5th has passed and there's still no official details about the new season, not even wich characters will be back or not.

well that means that we are going to have to sit and wait huh
