 |  Season 6; Graduates Return, Season 7 OMGG everyone I was on the degrassi-tngo website and I can't beleive what I read I'm going crazy (in a good way lol) The Executive Producer Stephen Stohn posted on the Degrassi website today a message that implied that season 6 probably won't be the last season of Degrassi and that they will be doing stories on graduated characters in season 6, this is contrary to heavy fan speculation against both statements. His full post is below "Not sure where people are getting the idea that this will be the last season, or that we won't be carrying on with storylines featuring characters who have graduated!" This is the greatest news  I'm so happy, this made my day |

Oh and I would like to say that what you see on the IMDB is not written in stone. I've seen some mistakes on it and to add: ANYONE can put information on the database, so again it's not full proof. Hopefully not all the actors that read 2006 will still be around. Quote:

| that is big news! hopefully it's true, but if they can get all the original characters back for a season 7, that would be crazy! i don't know how their going to do this but i'm loving the news. as for the palex thing, that would be super crazy too, if they decide to get them back together as well. |

| Maybe season 6 is a way of weening the characters out and mixing them with the new, so by season 7 we'll be interested in the new characters? Hmm.. As for Palex, my personal opinion (if Deanna is still around) is that they won't get back together (at least not now). I think season 6 will be about soul searching on both parts. Yes, I think Paige will date guys again in the mean time. As for Alex, she has to figure out what she wants to do with her life before she rots with her mom. By the end, maybe they'll get back together, maybe not. I just hope the writers delve into this a bit further. It all started and ended too quickly. Quote:

| too true on that! i think that's what the show may do is bring in more characters to replace the graduating class of 06 and 07. people like derrick, darcy, and i think peter won't graduate next year so they could find more characters to join the show with them. but, for me, i don't know how i'm gonna adjust to new characters because i'm so adapted to these i'm seeing now. in my opinion, i don't want degrassi to loose it's momentum to continue with a 7th season if the magic isn't there in the 6th season. true, i think the writers won't touch the palex thing for sometime. i think keeping them as friends is all good by me, as long as there no hard feelings between them. i totally agree the palex romance started and fizzed out super quick, if they do bring the storyline back up, i hope it's written with more class and dignity then the one they just gave us. | It's true the writers of Degrassi didn't make Paige and Alex stay long together  but maybe in the middle of the next season Alex might actually want to go to colleg or get a good job somewere |
