On the N, there is a video on demand interview with Lauren and she says how the relationship between Paige and Alex is 'beautiful and sincere' and she believes, 'there is a bright future for it'...(the relationship)...so it sounds as if she is quite sure we haven't seen the end of Palex. I hope this is true.

No, you've seen the end of Palex. That was just for the N - a promo - which is why Canadians and Australians can't view it. And the title is a little misleading. Because Lauren has said in other interviews that she didn't want to do the Palex storyline and that it was very difficult. I don't blame her.

I don't know exactly that it is the end of PALEX. What have you seen that makes you so sure? Lauren has said that the kiss was uncomfortable. (I don't remember the exaxt quote) but she nor the writers has given it a definite ending....and i don't think that she as an actress
(including Deanna) was so uncomfortable that the storyline would come to an end so soon.

i don't know if their should be an assumption that Lauren is 'updating her views' to suit U.S. tv and what will happen.

Palex is not proven to be gone, nor is any other storyline. The show is not over and never say never.

i personally don't think lauren said all that. but, i think what probably made it uncomfortable her and also deanna is that it was sprung up on them so late. i think if someone told me in a meeting, got my script, and it said something about me and this other girl going to have something going down, i would be like "what?!" myself. let me also say, if your professional actress or actor you should able to take the good/bad in acting and don't complain. i think it would had been totally different for the actresses if the tptb would done this storyline early in season 5, then they wouldn't has felt as uncomfortable as they did doing it so late. don't get me wrong i support the the palex thing, but how the tptb done it, hate to say it... i think it was a rating ploy!

The only thing negative that Lauren said was that kissing Deanna was "weird".
I think their relationship WILL be persued (at least I want it to) because it's controversy and it attracts more viewers. They are running out of things, and remember this is the "go-thereist" season ever, so it's going to go past one episode. Even if it doesn't last much longer, in the The-N promo for this season, it shows Alex talking to Paige about being a lesbian so even if it ends there, that's still something. I don't know, I thought the whole Alex/Paige thing was hot and a nice twist to the season. IT SHOULDNT GO AWAY lmao

Of course it was a rartings ploy! Anyone with a brain knows that playing the gay card sells on TV now-a-days. If I were a writer for a show on tv that would be one of my storylines most definitely! Whether people agree or not it ups the ratings. And I must say, the PALEX storyline was handled with brilliance. If you could rope a non-mainstream person such as myself who never cared about these types of storylines, your definitely doing something right! I believe with that all Paige has been through with the rape and all this is actually a not so fake dilemma on her part. And no, I don't think Lauren was "uncomfortable" in that sense. I'm sure it is just as uncomfortable for a straight person to do a heterosexual scene in front of a bunch of people and multiple camera's. I can barely speak in front of a small class without feeling like I'm gonna pass out.

Look at the O.C. how they're betraying lesbians on their show. it's all for the ratings with most of these shows when it does the gay thing/murdering someone. i totally feel on whatever Lauren had said in whatever interviewers she said in Canada/Aust. the girl claims she did. i don't think she was uncomfortable about doing it, just some of the little boys on the set was teasing them about. because in that interview she had with the-n during the season premiere of lexicon of love she talked about how some of the guys from the show was making noises and picking on them when they had to do those kissing sences. plus, i think homegirl was just caught off guard that her character had to be the eye of alex's affection, lol.

yer this is weirdo, she said in her mtv interview that she would do it again if she had too, i watched it, and she also said that paticular day was a very long day so the make out scene wasnt as much of a big deal as ud make it out to be. She was apparently exausted from the day so wen that scene needed to be filmed she was like i quote "ohhhh yea me n deanna have to make out now". As for the canada and aus, we can neva watch anything off the n.com , no matter what it is.

well if lauren is uncomfortable about doing that scene of any sexual scene she needs to get out of acting now. and lauren hasnt acted weird about it as much as i have saw. I think there will be more palex and i hope so they were a great couple

umm, i don't believe lauren said anything negative about her storyline during season 5. because from what i got from the her mtv-diary she said she wouldnt mind doing it all over again and it was fun. also she said somewhere else that deanna is very confident so it helped her out a lot be comfortable going into it.
