I agree with it. The writers should of dropped a few hints before airing Lexicon of Love. I think if they would have had Paige drop some hints as well as just Alex. It would have made of been more realistic story line. It really felt like Paige just woke up one morning and decided to like Alex.

Now if only this was shown before season five, I could have seen LOL actually happening. The only evidence I ever saw was that Alex and Paige nipped at each other like dogs, which may have been evidence that they liked each other. Nice Vid anyways, enjoyed it.

If the degrassi producers would have shown an episode with a similar storyline to LoveCats before Lexicon of Love aired, it would have drawn more attention to the developing relationship between Paige and Alex and maybe created more Palex fans.

I totally agree! How could you not love them after Lovecats and a whole half hour episode like it would have been the best. Palex is too cute and I think if the producers/writers would have built up to Palex more there would probaly be quite a few more Palex fans

That's why I'm hoping they will make up for it in season six. I hope they answer some questions about how they came to be in season 5 as well as seeing them grow as a couple (hopefully) in season 6. It was way too rushed.

yea...I'm hoping for all that too...if they woulda had at least one episode that would have hinted alex having a crush on paige or something..it wouldn't have had to have been big..just..a little.."what i a minute" hint woulda been nice...but hopefully they will talk about it in season 6.

Yea I hope so too!!!! I think maybe DOADD was supposed to be a lame ass attempt at Alex crushing on Paige. The reason I think that is the way Alex reacted to Matt coming back. I saw some jealousness there, hehe but if you didn't expect it to turn into something more....then that was kinda a sucky clue.

Yeah i noticed that right away in DOADD. Also, Alex's facial expression when Paige was hugging Marco in the hallway. That was a dead give-away as well. And the entire Palex thing was lame minus LOL. They have to come back with something better.

Yea I noticed her facial expression there also, she looked annoyed with the thought of Paige leaving. I think they will make up for it in season 6, they can't just leave it as is that would just be pointless.

As soon as she said it I was like "ummm I would consider that flirting and woah Alex just flirted" lol, Paige was like so not getting it and! and! Grrr that would have been ssoo good if Paige would have noticed!!!!!!
